今日はジョージハリスンの命日だったか。 久々にCD引っ張り出し…てこようと思ったがCDの棚が埃まみれで気が失せたので(汗)Apple MusicからDLし聴いている。 この cloud nineというアルバムが発売された1987年当時、私はまだ小学六年生の少年だった。 勿論このヒゲのおじさんが何者かなどという事はよくわからなかったが、シングル盤で先行販売されたこの曲Got My Mind Set On You は爆発的ヒットとなり、あちこちから聴こえていた事をとてもよく覚えている。 当時はまだバブルの余韻も冷めやらず、東京の場末に住む少年の目に世の大人達は皆とてもカッコよく映り、 自分も大人になったら… などというまさに夢の対象であった。 勿論、当時の大人達だって皆が皆幸せではなく中にはとても苦労をしていた方々もいただろう。 それでも、今よりは皆希望を捨てず輝いていた様な気がするのである。 さて、時は進み2022年。 今を生きる子供達の目に、我々大人は一体どの様に映っているのだろうか。 ふとそんな事を考えてしまった。 ここ数日の悪天候、気圧の乱高下も重なりメニエール病の症状と不定愁訴がとても辛く、正直音楽を聴くのもかなりボリュームを絞らないと耳鳴りがシンドい状況ではあったが、懐かしく当時を思い出すにはそれでも充分な煌びやかさを満喫できた。 #georgeharrison #cloudnine #gotmymindsetonyou #since1987 #気象病 #メニエール病 https://www.instagram.com/p/Cli6N4hvgvw/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
