True, very true. I’m going to try and restrain myself a little longer though, because I had just made this agreement with myself this month. And I’m trying not to be too impulsive any more with book buying.

Hi! My name's Un, and today, I shut the car door on my glasses and broke them. (oops). My favorite book is hard to pick, but I'd have to say either Graceling, all of PJO/HoO, or The Night Circus, the Book Thief, or Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. (sorry, can't pick one)

HI THERE UN!! And that seriously sucks about your glasses. I’ve done not quite such bad things to my glasses, but I can empathize.

Questions:

1. Have you read a book in another language? I'm Danish and since I've read several English books I would say yes.

2. Do you judge a book by it's cover? Yes I do. I think it's hard not to - it's the first impression you get of the book.

3. Have you ever tried audiobooks? I have. When I was younger I couldn't concentrate enough but I've later heard The Shamers Daughter by Lene Kaaberbøl. I have no problem by getting read out loud to, but audiobooks is not my medium.

4. How do you feel about lending books? And about borrowing? I think it's great if I can get my friends to borrow my books. My friends will read and my books will get read. I believe in read books. I like borrowing books too, but I rarely get the chance.

5. Do you take notes of what you are reading? If so, where? No. I read to get out of my own world for a while and I'm not great at writing reviews. But I do emphasize quotes if I find them inspiring or true.

6. Have you ever really liked a book that you were obliged to read (for school, college...)?  In 7th grade I think, we read a book called 'Den sidste Henrettelse' (The last execution) by Jesper Wung-Sung. It's about the last execution in Denmark, a young boy, and his last 24 hours by the view of him and the townspeople. I think I was the only one in my class linking it. I later bought it though I haven't read it since.

7. How many friends do you have IRL that love books as much as you do? None, I think. Many of my friends enjoy reading but not as much as me. Wait, no, maybe one or two of my best friends I met at a writing curse a few years back. 

8. Have you ever read during class and got caught? If so, what happened? I don't think I've read in a class when I wasn't allowed. I'm really not much of a rule-breaker and I think it's disrespectful to the teacher.

9. Do you make lots of move/facial expressions while reading? I think I do. I don't really notice it, I'm often too deep in the book.

10. What do you think of movie adaptations? It can go very, very wrong, but it can get really good if done right and with the tone of the book.

11. How many books are in your TBR pile? And why are they there? There's about nine in the pile on my nightstand. Either they're from the library or it's about time to read them. There is two I need to read for a book club in my school before the next meeting.

QUESTIONS:



1. What is your all time favourite book and why?

My all time favourite book, standalone, is probably The Messenger by Markus Zusak. It gave me so many happy feelings and it was interesting at the same time. I absolutely loved the lesson that it taught me. Extremely clever.

2. What is the first book you remember reading?

Probably the Harry Potter series. I read it when I was in year 3? It got me addicted to reading, I read anything and everything I could get my little hands on. 

3. Who is your most inspirational character?

Hermione Granger. I wish I was as studious as her. She knew what she wanted and she worked extremely hard to get there. I am more studious than most, but also extremely lazy. 

4. Which book would you like to write a sequel to?

The Harry Potter Series. I need Teddy Lupin more than anything in the entire world right now.

5. What is your favourite book to movie adaptation?

I think probably TFIOS. I just felt they put the book onto the screen in an amazing way. I really felt like it was all happening in front of me.

6. What is the last book you read?

Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz. I didn't absolutely love it, but I liked it a great deal.

7. What is the last movie you watched?

How to Train Your Dragon 2. I cried. 

8. What genres do you read?

Anything, I'm really not picky with my books at all. excluding erotica At the moment I've been reading ALOT of contemporary, but that mainly because most other genres are series or trilogies, and I've been trying to spend as little money as possible. 

9. What is your favourite book quote?

Way too many to say! But I will list a few. 

"I'm going to bed before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed - or worse, expelled" - Hermione Granger, HP and the Philosophers Stone.

This quote has meant more to me as I've grown up. Hermione was always excluded, and she's finally making a few friends in Gryffindor and at Hogwarts. Being expelled would mean losing her new start and going back to the Muggle world losing everything. Also its funny.

A lot less meaningful just cute.

10. Do you enjoy classics?

I find some hard to get through but I always love the stories. Most of them I can get through and I find them very enjoyable. 

11. How often do you read?

I'm an extremely fast reader, and I read books faster than I can get a hold of them. I really should use the library more often, but I feel the need to own books so... if I am reading a book, I will not stop until that bad boy is finished. I read probably a book a fortnight, but as that book, is read over two maybe three days, its not all that great I guess.
