Book Question Tag

Rules:

1. Always post the rules.

2. Answer the questions the person who tagged you wrote and write 11 new questions.

3. Tag 11 new people.

Questions:

1. Have you read a book in another language? I'm Danish and since I've read several English books I would say yes.

2. Do you judge a book by it's cover? Yes I do. I think it's hard not to - it's the first impression you get of the book.

3. Have you ever tried audiobooks? I have. When I was younger I couldn't concentrate enough but I've later heard The Shamers Daughter by Lene Kaaberbøl. I have no problem by getting read out loud to, but audiobooks is not my medium.

4. How do you feel about lending books? And about borrowing? I think it's great if I can get my friends to borrow my books. My friends will read and my books will get read. I believe in read books. I like borrowing books too, but I rarely get the chance.

5. Do you take notes of what you are reading? If so, where? No. I read to get out of my own world for a while and I'm not great at writing reviews. But I do emphasize quotes if I find them inspiring or true.

6. Have you ever really liked a book that you were obliged to read (for school, college...)?  In 7th grade I think, we read a book called 'Den sidste Henrettelse' (The last execution) by Jesper Wung-Sung. It's about the last execution in Denmark, a young boy, and his last 24 hours by the view of him and the townspeople. I think I was the only one in my class linking it. I later bought it though I haven't read it since.

7. How many friends do you have IRL that love books as much as you do? None, I think. Many of my friends enjoy reading but not as much as me. Wait, no, maybe one or two of my best friends I met at a writing curse a few years back. 

8. Have you ever read during class and got caught? If so, what happened? I don't think I've read in a class when I wasn't allowed. I'm really not much of a rule-breaker and I think it's disrespectful to the teacher.

9. Do you make lots of move/facial expressions while reading? I think I do. I don't really notice it, I'm often too deep in the book.

10. What do you think of movie adaptations? It can go very, very wrong, but it can get really good if done right and with the tone of the book.

11. How many books are in your TBR pile? And why are they there? There's about nine in the pile on my nightstand. Either they're from the library or it's about time to read them. There is two I need to read for a book club in my school before the next meeting.

1) What is your least favorite book?

Erika: Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist. I just really didn't feel it. 

Miedjel: Wicked Lovely By Melisa Marr. 

2) 3 fictional girlfriends/boyfriends.

Erika: Only 3?! HUHUHUHU but if I had to choose, Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare, Noah Shaw from Mara Dyer Series By Michelle Hodkins, Ren Rajaram from Tiger's Saga By Colleen Houck

3) Where do you buy your books from?

Erika&Miedjel: At our local bookstores--- Fully Booked & National Bookstore. Also, Book Depository amd Barnes&Noble for books not available here.

5) What is your favorite classic?

Erika&Miedjel: I haven't read any classic classic but for modern classic I would have to say The Giver by Lois Lowry.

6) Do you like to write?

Erika: Sometimes. I do have my writing moods. 

Miedjel: Yup! It's alot of fun:)

7) Paperback, hardcover or audiobook?

Erika: Hardcover all the way! It needs less attention than paperback.

Miedjel: Mmmm Well, I like to read it first in Hard cover then sometimes I listen to it in audio book:)

8) Bookstores or libraries?

Erika&Miedjel: Bookstores. We have really sucky libraries here.

9) E-reads or physical copies?

Erika: Physical copies. I just like the look and the feel of the books.

Miedjel: E-reads cause it's just to heavy! 

11) Most favorite movie that is adapted from a book?

Erika: Catching Fire. It was sooo exciting and very true to the book! 

Miedjel: Harry Potter! Its just so alike:)

11) Favorite bands/singers.

Erika: Maroon 5. I mourn for the lost of Adam Levine's singleness...

         1D is pretty okay too. :D

Miedjel: God, Maroon 5 baby!
