The Lady (aka Dimitria Afanasyeva) is the owner of a large brothel in Sineva with a side business of selling painkillers and other drugs (medical and not). Originally from Odessa, she moved shortly before the start of WW2

The Lady shares the worldview of some people that Sineva is a great being and it is a great joy to die (or become infected) on It's territory, because the deceased will feed the Flesh with their body

The plot starts because Dimitria's husband (for now I call him the Player) is brutally murdered during tv broadcast. Soon after, Yaroslava comes to Lady to buy pills as per usual

Yaroslava's first encounter with Sineva be like:

Sineva cannot contact the physical world on her own, so she uses Flesh (an unintelligent parasitic organism with properties of muscle tissue and mycelium) as a "conductor"

However, nothing prevents her from invading other people's dreams and getting into their consciousness

Sineva is not aggressive towards people, she is just such an inhuman creature that her actions can go far beyond our morality (something about cosmic horror)

Long time no post

O'ran is a radio host, the voice of the City, and the one whose greeting and farewell residents hear every morning and evening

"O'ran" is omniscient, positive and caring. She warns where Anomalies will appear in the Sineva during the day, what the weather will be like, and what exactly you, a resident of apartment 3, building 81, sector 13, should wear to an interview today

Citizens love her, some see her as an idol or friend. Someone thinks that "O'ran" is not really a person, but an Anomaly herself

Yaroslava, who works at the Radiostation, is very cautious, so for her own safety she does not disclose her identity

In order to not get confused, I will call her Yaroslava if we are talking about her ordinary persona and O'ran if about the radio host

Viktor Tenev, nicknamed "Viy", is a reseller of everything useful that can be collected behind the walls of the Bastions. Mechanisms, metal figurines and tableware sets, bones, meat and skins of anomalies (mutated living creatures). O'ran often comes to him to exchange what she has found.

Victor comes from a family of Russian aristocrats who managed to survive during the revolution.

A doctor and scientist, he worked on a government project during World War II.
