Enjoy this Sing prompt with Johnny and BD as weregorillas!
“What the hell is going on?”
“Umm,” Johnny gazes up at the gang in the doorway. “Hey guys!”
“Johnny!” Barry hisses, “that’s a feral animal by you!” He creeps into the garage slowly, eyeing the wolf curled behind Johnny with blood on its mouth. “Come here, while it’s distracted!”
The young gorilla sets down his notebook reluctantly - he had been getting so much of his new song written in the silence! “He’s not feral…he’s…dad. That’s my dad.”
“Wh-what?!” Barry’s jaw drops and he turns wildly to the men behind him.
Bruce shrugs and nods. “That’s boss alright, just stay away from him. He gets nasty over his food at this time.” He steps into the room, stays far away. “Are you alright, Johnny?”
“Kind of confused,” he admits. “Dad told me just a little bit before…you know.”
“Has he hurt you?”
Johnny shakes his head. “Of course not! He’s my dad!”
“That’s a wolf!” Barry snaps! “A feral wolf!”
“It’s a long explanation,” Bruce sighs with a hand over his face. “Johnny, he can still hurt you in this state, you need to-.”
“He just sniffed me for a while!” Johnny hotly defends. “That was all. Then I got the meat out of the freezer like he told me and he’s been calm ever since.” He looks at the wolf gnawing on a bone. “He’s still my dad.”
“But he’s feral.”
“But he’s my dad.”
“Johnny,” Bruce groans. “You gotta understand that he may not recognize you while he’s like this.”
“But he did! Once he got my smell, everything was fine.”
“It’s fine for now, but what abo-?”
Johnny slams his notebook to the floor. “No! He’s my dad, I’m not leaving him alone right now. I trust him.”
Barry is still stammering and sinking to the ground, eyes on the beast in the room, but Bruce huffs. “Fine. We’re staying too then.”
