Hey guys! Nicky here, and I’d like to share some really big news! And ask for a favor too, haha. My school has a very strict chorus program- auditions are hard to get through, and practice is even harder. We meet up after school to practice- sometimes until midnight, apparently, though thankfully I haven’t had one of those yet- (the caffeine shots keep us alive either way tbh) to try and win competitions and make a name for ourselves and our school.This is the first year that I managed to break my way through auditions and into our competing chorus, but I’ve usually been in our more casual chorus and helped out as best as I can with everything we do. This year, we’ve managed the ultimate achievement- we’re performing at Carnegie Hall in New York this March! (I need to study for finals,,, oh dear) We’re so proud of ourselves for it, but the problem is that a lot of us come from low income families and the trip is more than expensive, so we fundraise as best as we can. Selling chocolate, muffins, putting on performances at school to raise more funds, etcetera. We don’t know if that will be enough though, since we need uniforms and such to top it off, so we made an IndieGoGo page- which is like GoFundMe. I don’t ask everyone who sees this to donate (Although every cent helps us so much!), but please reblog this and spread the word so we can go and perform!!
