Night and day. Been working on a corner of the world to call my own, and finally checked a long overdue project off the list this weekend with my dad's help. When I saw this amazing sinnerlig lamp from IKEA after hours of scouring Pinterest, I knew it was exactly what I wanted for my space. The only problem was that I don't have a ceiling light socket, so we turned this into a pendant lamp. We spliced an extension cord with a switch to the end of the original cord, hid all the uglyness under the "cap", added a ceiling hook, and viola! It's hard to capture the night time vibe, but it's simply perfect. 👌🏼
