Dorian came awake slowly. He felt warm, comfortable, and so very at peace. The bed beneath him was soft and the sheets felt expensive. He gave a soft, pleasurable hum of contentment - which choked itself off abruptly as his last memory before unconsciousness smacked back into his head with the force of a wrecking ball. He’d been imprisoned! In an institution! Accused of being someone he wasn’t! They’d been about to…! To what? Kill him?! He couldn’t be killed. But then… what was this?! Where was he?

Cautiously, the immortal opened his eyes and looked around. Faint moonlight streamed through several stained glass windows, falling in a sort of semi circle onto the bed. Everything was raised slightly on a dais and surrounded on one side by heavy velvet curtains which partitioned it off from the rest of the room. A room he’d last seen in the early 90s!

Next to him a body shifted, and Dorian turned to find himself staring down onto the sleeping, moonlit form of… “Toby…?” The word came out soft and strangled. But this was… all of it was wrong! How could he be here?! How could Toby…?! With a strangled sound, Dorian slid out of the bed, continuing to stare in confused horror at the sleeping vampire. His mind was reeling, trying to make sense of something that made ABSOLUTELY no sense.

Waking up after the ‘procedure’ tied down to his bed in the psychiatric hospital would’ve at least made some sense. Not waking up at all… well, he wouldn’t have been around to have to worry about it. But this…? What WAS this?! Finally finding his voice, Dorian stood there, wearing nothing, and hissed, “Wake up! I don’t know what you’ve done or how you’ve done it but it ends now! WAKE. UP!” Then he grabbed up his pillow and tossed it at Toby’s head. Hard.

To explain - After Shadwe transformed into his demon form, destroyed Lixt’s castle and almost killed both Lixt and Sephyr before glitching away… Lixt had to take Sephyr to Rescus for some healing because he ended up so badly hurt even his tattooed magic runes got scratched/burned off.

Well… Void is at that time in Flyming arguing with Fyre when the two barge in.

Everything Void touches dies and Sephyr is already on the verge so let’s hope Lixt realizes in time his comrade is a living being, not undead unlike his whole kingdom.
