sometimes yoojin wonders what his parents were thinking when they arranged for him and seth to get married. they had nothing in common. their interests and careers were so different that they barely even talked, let alone mentioned it to each other. add the fact that even seth doesn't want to acknowledge the engagement, yoojin will always be confused.

maybe it was for the money. money does make them happy, it makes their greed grow until it's colored green and satiated. maybe that was the answer to his own question.

he didn't know why he was contemplating all of this over a bowl of cereal before he needed to leave. maybe it was because he woke up to seth in his bed once again. he should be used to this. it always happened, somehow and someway.

he was pushed out of these thoughts when aformentioned person had walked into the kitchen as if nothing had happened. no, yoojin would not play the pretend card today.

"you wanna explain how you got in my bed this morning?"

some days, she forgets to remember.

there had been that one tuesday afternoon. that one year, that one spring. be careful with your hands, as he placed a cactus on her windowsill. her laughter and a bandage around her pinky finger the next day. she had never listened in the first place, and two wrongs never did make a right.

some days, she forgets to remember that seth never colors inside the lines.

( kkt // seth ) didn’t you tell me you could walk through walls?

he had. ( that one year, that one spring. ) seasons recycle in a strange flow of time, and hyeri had never tried to understand.

“you’re so silly.” she tucks the memory inside her mind, and it swells into the empty void. the door swings open, and she smiles at the sight of him. laughter like a string of bubbles. just because, just because. “what is it this time?”

      arriving tiredly at the set of the next photo shoot, sungki was rubbing nimble digits along creeks of eyes underneath set of glasses; perhaps he should’ve canceled and postponed the shoot but, the male didn’t want to do that, just because he had been out all night   ‘   hunting   ‘   for his late-night dinner. so once appearing, a lot of the staff were cussing at him for being a bit late and he wasn’t really one to throw an apology so he just bowed his head instead. however, eyes settled over to where the model was currently waiting for his arrival as well   ---   being the photographer, he knew he should at least apologize to them; as he may cause the other’s schedules to mess up later on. so feet took him there and he   (   awkwardly   )   waved a hand before bowing his head in a deeper bow than before and he spoke out in his usual low, almost cold tone of voice.   ❝   i’m sorry for the waiting time; i hope we can proceed with the photo shoot nonetheless   ?   ❞   gaze rose and had eyes land on the other, only a mild smile shown on his face; just to try and throw away the grogginess he was currently feeling.

It was the oddest thing, time seemed like it was passing by so quickly but at the same time a day felt like it contained more than 24 hours. Maybe it was because these days were filled with new experiences and things Ivy never thought she’d ever see. Since she had moved to Seoul a few months ago, she’d been working hard to become a better model. No, it’s not something she ever really wanted to do, being a model was never in her life plan, but since she had accepted the offer she decided to try hard to do well. Though, becoming a ‘good’ model was proving to be quite difficult.

Ivy had never seen herself as pretty, in fact she thought she was just ordinary and plain looking. Even now it was still so hard to believe and she expected to wake up from this dream anytime. Being in front of a camera, having everyone stare at you and taking photos of you was something she definitely was not used to. She was still so awkward, at least that’s how she felt she was anyways.

Today, however, she was doing a shoot with another person. Her manager had informed her prior to the shoot that the other was an experienced model and that Ivy should take advantage of the situation and pay attention to how this other person worked with the camera. Of course, everyone had their own styles and did things differently but trial and error was all part of the learning process and moving forward. They had told her who he was but she had never heard of him before. Naturally she would be oblivious since the fashion and modeling world was nothing she actually had interest in or paid attention to for that matter.

Despite her lack of knowledge, she still found herself somewhat excited. There wasn’t much time to introduce herself to him in the beginning of their day due to the fact they were busy with hair and makeup and then taking photos. Her chance came when the shoot took a short break. She decided to introduce herself and try to get some advice and pointers on how to model. Tips from someone more experienced were extremely valuable, there was no way she could pass up this opportunity.

While she didn’t know who he was, she still felt nervous approaching him and she did so slowly and cautiously. “Umm, excuse me?” her voice was light and airy, there was a friendliness to it as well. Part of her felt like she was bothering him and her nerves began to get the better of her. To calm herself, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath before opening them and smiling to him. “I’m Ivy, it’s really great to meet you. Would you mind if I took some of your time?”

seth catches blythe’s gaze, jaw moving slightly, but a sudden shrill pulls him away from the storm’s eye. he pulls a blank face. then he clenches his jaw again and turns back. “so i guess you don’t want to hear the punchline, the end game, the cliffhanger.”

he strolls past the movie poster and chews on his second tic-tac, hiding behind husky laughter and stardust eyes, a 24-karat bangle shimmering prettily on his toothpick wrist as he points somewhere further inside the cityscape on a whim. seth contemplates continuing down the sidewalk and leaving blythe to his own [insert interchangeable adjective here] self, because as much as he siphons off of his company, the inevitability remains that he needed to tell about an ending; one he wasn’t even close to.

“blythe,” harsh with piercing undertones, his eyes are sweltering dark with something deeper than any rage, “if you’re done showing me around, i have a fitting in less than two hours.” picking at a stray hair when he looks back, he wears that smile everyone likes. “catch a cab with me or go home alone. your choice.” 

Blythe takes his time answering, his cold hands shove themselves into the pocket of his jeans. He shrugs, not wanting to give the male beside him any reason to continue harassing him with the ever life ruining, mood spoiling idea of telling him yet ANOTHER spoiler to another movie he wanted to see eventually. 

“Listen. I get your excitement, but have you ever thought about... what’s the word I’m looking for ?” Blythe taps his lip, faking a thoughtful pose. “Oh, I know! How about NOT spoiling shit for everyone else? I mean, not all of us get to binge watch an entire series in one night. Some of us like to pace ourselves.” Aside from the fact he’s already been given the gruesome details of yet another episode of Game of Thrones he can’t find it within himself to remain too irritated—— admittedly, he jumps a little, got off guard by the sudden change in tone but a smile curls onto his lips to hide his initial state of surprise. 

“I’ll catch a cab with you on the condition that you pay the fee.”

"i’d be lying if i said i didn’t care" (u know who)

“you’d be lying if you said you did care. we’re not at the lie to each other phase just to be happy. what are you trying to get at, honey?” yoojin folded his arms over his chest, leaning against the door frame. he wasn’t happy. he really wasn’t happy, but he wouldn’t let it get to him. they were stuck in this until the bitter end. or until at least one of them gave in and signed the papers. that, however, did not seem likely at this point.

The girl browses through the store, holding the book in her hand but no ribbon. The blonde turns the corner rather quickly, looking to the side before meeting with a familiar face. His words scared her a bit. The girl blinks looking up at him. ❝I haven’t done anything though...❞

    ☾—*; It had been quite some time since Celeste was allotted the chance to have a day to simply relax and do as she pleased. Between maintaining her group and engaging on her latest solo project, there wasn’t much time left for her to enjoy solely to her own self. She had done just as she planned to spend her day off, by sleeping in until noon, took her time in getting up, and spent most of the remainder of the day planted on her living room sofa binge watching her favorite horror flicks. 

     The time alone had been well enjoyed until that evening, when stir-craziness began to ensue after the fifth film for that day. With her cell phone within her grasp, she thumbed through her list of contacts for some hopeful company for the evening, a perfectly lacquered nail halting over Seth’s listing. Pursing her lips to the side in consideration, she hesitated a moment, before the pad of her thumb landed on the “message” option.

[ ✉ → seth ] you. hey, you. if you don’t have anything planned this evening, how about you come keep me company? [ ✉ → seth ] i’ve got fine wine (and other druthers) i’m willing to share.
