This is a character I sketched out MONTHS ago, finally got the motivation to finish him. Huge Kaiju pieces with a lotta detail are pretty daunting Meet the god of the ocean, Siphos! I based him off of a siphonophore- colonial organisms made up of a bunch of small animals linked together. On the left are some of the individual sections separated, and on the right is all of him put together! Siphos believes humans to be a blight on the earth, he wants nothing more than to wipe out all land civilization. Being tied to the water, he can't cross onto land to fulfil that goal himself. With the Atlantean Queen, Siphos created Marlowe- a being that would cross onto land and flood the earth. Check out Marlowe's story in the description, here

SECTION INFO Length Section: These are the sea monsters of every old ocean tale. Boat-sinking beasts, the raging arms of Siphos' wrath. They gather in the many thousands to make up Sipho's body length   Bubble Sheet: Mindless behemoths- mostly made of water, they blend into the ocean almost perfectly. Linked together, they envelop Sipho's body length and create the large bubble membrane at his front Drones: Essentially giant jellyfish, these are Siphos' eyes. They survey all of the ocean with small spheres at their core that resemble fish eggs. They connect together in long strings to form Siphos' many tendrils as well as the floating lights that follow around him Front Core Section: These beings contain Siphos' intelligence. They travel to remote shorelines in search of small villages and fisherman towns. When humans approach, their minds become lost in a haze. People who worship these beings slowly lose their humanity, becoming transformed into fish people over time. These are Siphos' chosen few who would survive the oncoming world flood. If one is separated from the Core, they will regain their mind, but will never regain their memories of who they used to be. The earth is sparsely filled with fish people who have managed to escape the Core's influence, most of them living far in-land, forever fearful of what lies in the ocean. what if sometime during whale lords neither sips or xephos can sleep so they just stay up and watch the stars together and its quiet for a long time as xephos thinks about home and gets caught up in nostalgia until he realizes how ridiculous this all is, he’s on the back of a flying whale in the middle of god knows where and this is all so fucking stupid but at the end of the day he thinks about college and thinks about sips and how far the both of them have come and this might be the dumbest shit they’ve ever encountered but they’re here with these people who are absolutely insane and he loves them so, so much and he leans his head on sips’ shoulder until he falls asleep. like ahahah.. what if. thatd be crazy.
