No, they're for sharing free writing. I can't think of any website where e-books can be sold by the chapter instead of as a whole. It would be kinda surprising if it really doesn't exist, it seems like such a logical idea.
yea..because i wanna start writing and i don't have a whole book written out yet. I just have like 15 pages done so far. and would wish i can release 10 pages at a time for like. 50 cents or a dollar(or as much as they wish to pay) everytime I write 10 more pages for readers who are interested.
I dreamt such a thing existed and its why i asked. Since I know fan fictions have their site where they upload per chapeter..but its free.

The sites that came to mind are fictionpress and wattpad, though I don't know much about how effective they are for getting an audience
do those have the option to charge per chapter or per 1000words(or so)?
