Refugee Crisis in Europe

The current refugee crisis in Europe is absolutely heartbreaking. That photograph of the three year old boy who had drowned on the beach just gives me the chills. How on earth can we let this happen to these poor innocent people? All that live in the western world can not even imagine the terror that these people have witnessed back home. Refugees don't want to flee their homes for no reason. They are fleeing war and uncertainty. If they felt safe in their homes, they would stay at home. I'll never understand how unkind humans can be to one another. I'm seriously losing my faith in humanity at the moment. Those poor families just want to feel safe in an otherwise desperate situation. It literally feels like the world is ending, because there is so much war and hatred between all these different groups of people and it makes me feel sick to my stomach. Here's hoping these people find somewhere safe to settle and can finally get on with their lives in a safe and secure environment. I wish there was a magic wand that would just bring peace to the world, but it is much more complicated than that unfortunately. Just be kind to everyone you meet, and remember kindness starts at home. Xxxxx
