I'm not a big motorcycle guy in GTA5, but you have inspired me. What are some good ones to grab? I already have an Akuma
When I’m in the city, hitting targets, I like the Akuma because it’s fast and has good turning speeds, and it’s acceleration is the highest of anything in it’s class even without mods. With mods you’ll reach top speed almost immediately, so it’s great for escaping from hit-and-runs, and evading pursuit vehicles.
I’d also advise picking up both Sanchez bikes. They’re functionally identical with patches since launch, but it’s nice to have a second on standby because your bikes will be destroyed very regularly. it’s about $100 to replace any of them though, so not much to worry about at least.
The Sanchez has good speed, decent acceleration, great traction and it can hit the off-road trails and mountains like nothing else. I use that when I’m tunnel-running, or when I know I’ll be heading off-road a lot (or to just look cool, it’s neat).
I also recommend getting an Innovation, and an Enduro. The Innovation is the best of the chopper-style bikes, and it’s very difficult to get tossed from one so it’s ideal for more endurance-heavy stuff. The Enduro is slower and more sluggish than most of the other bikes I regularly ride, but you can wheelie at top speed indefinitely on it and it’s good for trick-riding. Even colliding regularly on it, I’ve rarely been thrown from the bike so it’s a decent alternative to the Sanchez or a good bike to learn the mechanics on without risking high-speed death.
Overall though the Akuma is my favorite. My only problem with it is that you can’t wheelie at top or near-top speeds on it, so you’ll get overtaken if you get on the highway or head down long, straight roads. It is very important that you take sharp, high-speed turns as often as possible to really maximize the benefit you get from it’s handling & acceleration.
Also important to note: I have never driven a sports/superbike in the game. The closest I get are the streetfighters like the Akuma.
Regarding Win7/Win10 Stuff, you might want to consider just taking the leap and replacing Win7 with 10 on your gaming comp. 7 to 8 offered a slight performance boost, and I updated my gaming comp from 8.1 to 10 and noticed a slight performance boost, so the boost you'd get from 7 to 10 is worth not waiting for IMO.
if I felt that I needed the boost I’d go for it but my rig is overpowered as it is, I feel like waiting for more stability & compatability patches outweighs anything I could gain tbh
sirparadox replied to your post:does swtor suck or what give me the down low on it
Well, considering that I shelled out a ton of cash on it, got Early Access, played for 2 months then let the rest of my sub expire without renewing, and have only gone back once since, I’d say it sucks.
> early access
you deserved everything you got
So, where in Kansas, if you don't mind me asking? Because most of Kansas sucks....
Just outside of Wichita.
if I recall correctly, you were in search of an LCARS theme for windows 8. If so, have you had any success?
not yet, but it's been about six months since I last seriously searched
Good luck out there oh great and magical Sturm! I shall miss your wonderful posts.
Thanks! Hopefully the queue will tide you guys over.
Air bursts produce very little fallout, so there is little to be concerned about from that. This is mentioned somewhere on nukemap also.
