Me surfing Tumblr.com
I’m Coinaline now.
My sister always gives me a photoshoot when she visits in the winter 🤩 All glory to her skills at curling hair, doing makeup, and making me smile! 💖💖💖

Since it's V-day what type of men do you like?
Physically, I have no consistent ‘type.’ I had about a thousand different crushes in my adolescence, some fleeting and some lasting years, on men of every ethnicity, body type, and temperament. (Well, ok, the one exception has been Indian men. I have no idea why.) The most consistency I’ve found is a particular eye shape I find attractive (idk what it’s called, but Taylor Lautner and Dean Cain have it.)
I’m also a fan of self-improvement books like 7 Habits and 12 Rules for Life. So over time I have developed a list of qualities I look for, because I know that unless someone is very ugly, someone who has those qualities is someone I will be attracted to after meeting them, even if I am not initially physically attracted.
I look for men who are responsible and looking towards the future. Men who know themselves well enough to shoot for the stars and not the moon. Men I can admire, even when we disagree on something, and who might even convince me they are right through patient and civil conversation. Someone who is balanced in their approach to life, not someone who lives only for their muscles or recreation or to smoke weed. Someone who treats themselves with care but not indulgence.
Once I get to know someone better, I would look for more specific things. Someone who could deal with me telling him the plot of an entire book series because I can’t shut up about it, and who could hold a conversation after a Jordan Peterson lecture or a Thomas Sowell interview. A man who wants marriage, children, and his own acre of America. Someone who would encourage my desire to homeschool and to pray with and for our children, even if we are not of the same denomination.
My dad and sister have a bet going that I will meet my future husband within this next year. He bets $50 and she bets $2, to show you their relative faith in me ;) I hope in a year I can return to this post and say I’ve lost $52.

New icon is a photo of me taken by my sister in a Michigan park. New header is also one of my sister’s photos.
I know Halloween was weeks ago, but look at my sister’s adorable Elmo-flame pumpkin.
