Ein altes Foto meiner Fb-Freundin Kimberley, das sie und ihre Herzensfreundin in sehr jungen Jahren zeigt, löste für "das Projekt" den Sprung auf das nächste Level aus. Ich sah das Foto und dachte sofort, das muss ich malen. So sehr die 80iger, so sehr Leben, Neugier, Mut, so sehr alles.

An old photo of my Fb friend Kimberley, showing her and her sister at heart at a very young age, triggered the jump to the next level for "the project". I saw the photo and immediately thought, I have to paint that. So very 80's, so very life, curiosity, courage, so very everything.

Over a year ago, I lost my best friend, a sister of mine. & it honestly has not got any better on trying to realize she is really gone. I always think of you Madds, always even the smallest thing. February 8 is such a special day, 5 years ago my little niece Kyla was born and 3 years ago my own little baby girl Marai was born. The odds of two sisters having their daughters on the same day are crazy. I love that it happened like that they are growing up like little twins sisters that just happen to be two years apart.
