It was one of those days that started off with some sunshine but, throughout the latter part of the morning going into the afternoon, the sky got more and more hazy, with the sun being reduced to a silvery glow just about breaking through the thin cloud. It made for a pretty sullen, downbeat atmosphere to say the least. One which in some ways, reflects the mood of the nation which can best be described as…edgy…

Taking a new walking route up along Siston Brook yielded not one, but two new pylons to photograph…my day was complete:)

Scenes seen on a fag end of summer walk across Keynsham Meadow, up along Siston Brook, then up through Forest Larder and over towards Cleeve Wood, before descending the hill and heading off up the Avon to the pub:) Despite the recent rain, everything is still looking somewhat parched…
