On 25th March 2018, Sitar Player Rishabh Seen became the Youngest & First Sitar player & Indian Classical Musician to become one of the headliners of the Ragam, NIT Calicut by National Institute of Technology Calicut in Kerala.
Usually college festivals are known to invite Singers, Rappers or other vocal centric pop musicians or bands to Headline an event. It's rare for this spot to be entrusted and given to an Instrumentalist, that too to a 21 Year old Indian Classical Instrumentalist. Breaking this loop, Sitar player Rishabh Seen took the stage as the headliner to perform for around 3,000 people & performed an enthralling dual set in which he presented the traditional Sitar Vadan in Raga Bihag for the young audiences for them to experience, feel & develop a connection to Bharat's own traditional music & sound through Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet. Tabla Accompaniment by Mohandeep Bawra.
In the second half Rishabh presented a SITAR METAL set with songs from his first album Mute The Saint & unreleased songs from the upcoming album Sitar Metal for the audiences to experience the sheer Shakti of Bharatiya Shastriya Sangeet & Heavy Metal coming together, resulting in a one of a kind third-eye opening experience.
