Kree/Skull War Sans Skrull
Links clinked when he moved, so he stayed still. Nonetheless, Noh-Varr was perfectly aware he was a spectacle for the other classmates. Here was a class that hoped to summarize a bloody war that raged for hundreds of thousands of years, and one of the actual combatants was handcuffed at a desk at the back of the classroom with an armed guard alongside. Let’s talk about show and tell.
Noh knew the instructor was half-Kree, and he could smell that one of the other students was a Skrull. The SHIELD Institute was a very accepting institution indeed, as the fact that he had been allowed to be here at all went to show. It seemed that the only thing that prevented him from actually participating as a full student was the fact that he-- well-- declared war on Earth and killed Terrans. SHIELD had its limits of tolerance.
This war had been what he was made for. He knew every detail of thousands of battles in it, and in his own universe the practically eternal war had just come to an end, truly a momentous time to be alive. He knew nothing of the history of this world, however, and he found himself perhaps more disadvantaged than many here.
Noh-Varr sat stiffly and silently, absorbing Carol Danvers’ information and trying to keep as insignificant as possible. It was a rather impossible effort, and he glanced up at the other lingering student as the class eventually ended, signalling his time to be escorted back to the Observation level. “Do you have something to say?”
