Okay so I just started watching Seinfeld with my husband (who has seen it before) and we have a disagreement going about the stand up comedy bits.

I think the stand up act is the Jerry from the show, he says the stand up act is not supposed to be Jerry from the show but a different character instead.

So, what do you think?

Is Jerry from the stand up parts the same Jerry from the main portion of the show?
