Or perhaps I can find an even worse fate for you. I have found other Sith artifacts you might enjoy. I call this one the Oubliette of the Sith Lord Dreypa. Inside it, you would endure a living death. No sensor could pierce it to find a hint of your existence -- but you would know, living inside in the darkness for as long as I command. WIP guessing game: loyalty?
So this snippet is somewhat deceiving. ...still the weirdest of the stories I'm working on.
“I do have a job for you. The Republic—“
“No,” Obi-Wan interrupted immediately. “I’m not taking jobs against the Republic.”
Dooku raised an eyebrow at that. “What loyalty do you owe them.”
“I’m a Jedi—“
“You were a Jedi.”
Obi-Wan narrowed his eyes. “They’re still my family.”
Dooku’s eyes were dark with glee. “They might be your family, but you hate them.” Dooku waved a hand to the artifact. “If you hadn’t despised them, the artifact would have killed you.”
