Had a thought. AGD Powerless!Reader falling through a time pool to the present-day Boiling Isles decades before Luz arrives. The time pool had appeared beside a lake not far from the castle. You and Philip had been out exploring when he had gone off to relieve himself and when he came back, you had disappeared. The only thing that he found was your journal and pen as you had been writing in it while walking around.
You don't realize that there's been a change but you are immediately greeted with spears belonging to a handful of Coven Scouts with orders to bring anyone they found in the area to the castle. You are shackled and dragged there before the Emperor, which confuses you since the Boiling Isles at the time wasn't an Empire. You're immediately greeted by the sight of this imposing figure of Emperor Belos on the throne and you suddenly want to disappear into the floor when his gaze settled on you.
As Philip searches for you, he stumbles upon the time pool near where he found your journal and pen as you were writing when you fell in. While fascinated by them, he puts two-and-two together and realized what had happened. After trying two of them, the third he was grabbed and pulled through by Coven Scouts.
You were placed in a small sitting room with the Emperor who seemed very enamored by you. His voice was a lot softer than you anticipated and the way he spoke gave you a sense of familiarity despite being scared out of your mind. He was not going to hurt you, he assured you of that immediately. A part of you sensed a solemn air about him when he addressed you but you didn't quite understand. He asked you where you came from and the basics which you replied but then told him you need to get back to your "friend". He latched onto this and started probing, asking how close this "friend" was, and actually chuckled when you became severely flustered to the point you couldn't answer him.
Philip, on the other hand, was thrown into a dungeon without explanation while yelling at the guards that they couldn't do this to him and that he needed to find you. From there, he devises a plan to escape.
A guard delivers the message about Philip being apprehended to Belos which he responds with "Good, leave him to his own devices," which confuses you.
Fast-forward to you standing by the throne with Belos standing with his back to you feet away facing an enraged Philip. You had tried to go out to him but found you couldn't move. Belos seems angry but is composed. Philip had escaped and Belos seemed to have set this situation up perfectly. Philip brandished his dagger and readied himself to fight.
"Give them back now or I'll-!"
"How about this? You go back to your time through the time pools and leave them here with me?"
Philip was floored at first but then laughed at him. As if he'd abandoned you here with someone you didn't know. Philip is adamant that he'll get you back because he swore that he'd protect you. To this, Belos lost his composure.
"It's because of you that I lost them! Some "protector" you are! You're a fool to think you could have taken care of them in such a hostile environment!"
You froze upon hearing this and turned your attention back to Philip, looking even further confused.
"Philip, what-?"
Belos turned his head and watched you out of the side of his eye.
"Just a little longer, Angel. I promise this will be over soon."
With that, he turned back to a stunned Philip. The way he said it made you realize you were looking at the same man from two different times. The way he spoke with you, some of his mannerisms, his eyes... You knew there was something strange about him but now you were sure of it. Philip snarled, his nostrils flaring.
"Who the hell do you think you are-?!"
"I-I think he's you, Philip..."
Belos didn't answer. He just glared his younger self down who may have come to the same realization himself.
"You need to leave. Now. Go back and do everything you're supposed to do. Angel stays with me for their own protection. You've already mucked up too much in my life that deprived me of them. You will see them again. Not soon, but you will see them. I have what I need to take care of them like they deserve. Leave."
This, of course, backfired as Belos seemed to not realize how hardheaded and adamant he was, not only now but in his youth. He didn't listen to reason when he was on the verge of a mental break. Belos turned to return to you only to feel a sharp pain in his side and shoved aside violently. The hold on you released and he glanced up just in time to see Philip snatch you and bolt.
A chase ensues but you and Philip return to the time pools just in time to get through before they closed. Once in your original time, Philip sat there with you between his legs, holding you tightly with his entire body trembling, face hidden in your hair. The whole ordeal left you with more questions than answers. Philip became the Emperor of the Boiling Isles? What about going home? When brought up to Philip, he is quiet about it at first but tells you it seems that the version of him "Belos" had lost you at some point and changed life direction. How, he didn't know, but Belos seemed to be interested in taking you when you held a flame for Philip now. He swears to you that he will not let anything happen and as long as you were at his side, that wasn't going to come true.
Neither of you realized how far ahead in the future that was, nor that you had died. Philip also nixed the idea of allowing that to happen as it seemed he gave up on trying to kill the witches and chose to rule over them instead. Over his dead body would he do that. And this version of him mastered magic, it seemed. There was a lot of things he saw that he did not like, never realizing until much later that they were grave misunderstandings. All that mattered was you were safe in his arms.
After you and Philip left and the time pools closed up, Belos returned to his throne and hung his head. The one time he could have had you back, he failed... He had been so wrapped up in seeing you again, seeing your smile and hearing your voice, that he threw caution to the wind and didn't explain himself properly. After some time to think it over, Belos put together a search party for the time pools in secret and had them scour the BI to find them again. If he was lucky, he might get a second chance.
Btw totty deleted their account bc of the harassment they were getting from BLmatsus
I'm not one to lose time stalking people's profiles, especially after an argument, so I don't know what went down with that guy after my response.
I'm not going to deny or dismiss your claim, because harassment is a serious matter and I don't allow it even if it comes from "my side" of the fandom, which I am well aware can be just as volatile as some antis, nor am I going to imply we "had a point" or a reason to do that, or that they deserved HARASSMENT, of all things, in any capacity, like an insensitive goofy ahh person said to me in response to my personal post talking about the situation.
I don't fuck with harassment, and I won't defend it even if I think what they did was pointlessly mean and petty. I can't speak or apologize for any other proship/darkship/BLmatsu individual who may or may not have harassed that person, because I don't know anything for certain, so I won't.
Instead, I will ask you to prove it, if you can. If it really happened, I want to see it, the messages and/or asks.
Why? Because, in the internet, you can't take anything at face value, especially fandom drama like this. Some looking further into things is always necessary. Also, contrary to popular belief, getting constructive critism for one's actions isn't harassment. There IS a fine line between that and harassment, so it needs to be examined anyways.
So, let's see it. I believe my DMs are open, so, if you're willing to talk about it in a civilized manner, I'm open to it.
I'm not here only for my "side" of the fandom, I'm here to play mediator and help anyone willing to ask for help and talk, regardless of these stupid factions we've decided to split the whole fandom in. At the end, we're all Oso-san fans, and, as long as you haven't committed a hate crime, I believe there is space for diplomacy.
ooc;; why do people hate on dracula 1992? I think it's actually ok? (no, let's not start this conversation with keanu reeves).
Okay my thoughts about mary: yes it was unfair the way she was turned into a martyr by her family and held to a nearly impossible standard but I also think it was wrong the way she barely seemed to want to connect with her sons after being brought back! Like ofc she shouldn't expected to a timely parent them they're adults but like! She is still their mom! I know ppl will hate me for saying this but it's my truth
『✿』 probably don’t follow this blog unless you want to see my rp stuff, i’m really only posting art that’s relevant to malachi or any characters closely related to him. so there probably won’t be much more art to see, lol
Medea’s situation Dogan people in the city who didn’t believe Cassandra because she was an outsider. In this play it was learned that sometimes the most insightful people are the outsiders because they are not blinded by the normal activities of the main characters.
