There was no reason for me to be nervous. None at all. I just got married, and I’m on a plane to a tropical paradise sitting next to the love of my life. But I couldn’t help but feel butterflies in my stomach at the thought of what was to come. Siwon loves me, all of me, and he doesn’t care that I’m a virgin. I just have to relax, and trust him. I looked over at him, sleeping next to me. Sighing, I laid my head against his shoulder and tried to fall asleep.
Hours later, we stepped into the hotel room, and I started to feel nervous again. Siwon pulled me in for a tight hug. “You know, it may be the first night of our honeymoon, but we don’t have to do anything you’re not ready for, honey,” he whispered into my hair.

It was the night before yours and Siwon’s wedding anniversary. The past year with him has been amazing with him surprising you here and there. One of the biggest surprises that he gave you was surprising you with a food tour in Italy, where you went for your honeymoon. Knowing you love trying foreign food, Siwon arranged some of the best chefs in Italy and have them create you a whole 25-course meal in the Villa d’Este Gardens at Tivoli, known for its beautiful garden. You not only got to eat the most expensive and luxurious meal in the world but got it to eat with your husband in the most beautiful garden Italy had to offer.
No doubt was your husband very extra and you would not expect any less from him. Of course, that came with a few little frustrations such as now. Siwon had told you 5 minutes ago to pack up for a 10-day trip to celebrate your anniversary together. Not only do you have one night to pack, considering you’re leaving tomorrow, but he would NOT tell you where the two of you were going!

You never intended to be home as late as you were, but once you got started on another project at work you couldn’t leave without seeing it through. Siwon was usually home much later than you, so you thought you’d have enough time to finish it, but you failed to realise how much time all of it would actually take.
It was only when you stood up to head home did your body feel the full effect of pulling a late shift, you couldn’t wait to get home and relax, and seeing Siwon laid out across the sofa was an even better bonus to brighten up what had been a pretty poor day.
He slowly guided you towards the bottom of the stairs, making sure that you took each one carefully until you were at the top, opening the door to your bedroom. Your eyes brightened at the sight of your bed, desperate for the moment when you could just throw yourself down. Siwon could sense your excitement too, taking you to the bed as soon as you walked into the room.
“I just want to sleep for a thousand years right now,” you sighed, stretching out across the mattress.

The truth was he had no excuse, and worst of all he knew that you were right. He’d been working himself hard, not just with the group but all his individual projects too. He’d neglected your relationship for a long time whilst everything heightened, which was why he was so desperate to make the effort with you tonight when he walked through the front door first.

“Do you want to know something I’ve never told anyone,” he whispered, settling your head back against his chest, “I sit some nights on the sofa and imagine what our children would look like if they were playing on the floor, and then I imagine you getting mad because the room is a mess.”
A light giggle escaped from you as Siwon began to open up, telling you all about the dreams he had for your future together. You’d never heard any of these, his aspirations were always something that he kept so close to his chest.
Once he was finished, you began to open up to him too, retelling him all the stories you’d told your friends about how you wanted your future to go with him.
“I always imagined you as that fit dad at the school gates,” you informed him, “you know the one the other mum’s get excited about and try to figure out who’s kid you father. And then they probably try and force their child to be friends with our child to get closer to you.”
“As long as I’m the coolest parent at the school gates I don’t mind,” he cheered, brushing his hand through his messy hair, “I hope my kid would be proud to have me waiting for him at the gate.”
“Your kid would be the child of a member of Super Junior, there’s no way they would be embarrassed. I’m pretty sure being famous would give you some sort of pass to being the popular parent.”
He leant back further into his pillow as the two of you continued to share your dreams about the future, completely distracting you from the hectic day at work that you had had.
“Just think, in a year or two we really could have a child, or maybe two. You’re stressing yourself out so much at work, I think it would be good for you maybe to take some time away, and pregnancy could be the thing that would do that,” he suggested, resting his lips against the top of your head, “I don’t want to pressure anything, but I really would like to think this is something we can think about more.”
“I agree,” you smiled reassuringly, “I don’t want to wait much longer, you’re right when you said we weren’t getting any younger, and I want to be around for as much of their life as possible. Maybe we need to start thinking about this more, and maybe trying?”
His eyes lit up at your suggestion, “the trying is by far the best bit about all of this. I wouldn’t be opposed to start trying now if you wanted to too?”
“I think it’s important we try as much as possible,” you grinned, reaching up to attach your lips to his.
Siwon is very affectionate with you, it always comes with the utmost respect and love. He’ll always try and have a hold of your hand, so he knows that you’re safe, but also so you know that he’s there. He’s very protective of you and will always judge a situation to know how to treat you.
B ⇴ BEFORE DATING
As soon as you smiled at him as you passed by in the coffee store, he knew he had to go over and introduce himself to you. You thought he was just being friendly, but as he got talking to you, he couldn’t help but be interested in the things that you said. As you stood up to leave, he handed you his number and made sure to try and meet up with you again.
C ⇴ CONFESSION
After a few meetings, Siwon knew that he liked you as more than just someone in the coffee store. He’d asked you if you were free earlier in the day to catch up, but rather than coffee, he’d invited you to his favourite restaurant. When he told you the reason why he’d bought to the restaurant that night, you couldn’t help but smile, sitting back as he told you exactly how he felt about you before letting him know you felt the same.

Every date with Siwon was special, he always tried to outdo the last date and surprise you again and again. The cost didn’t matter, he loved to spoil you and show you all the fancy things in the city. But he was also humble, some nights, a pizza, a movie, and the sofa were all he needed. Being around you was what he treasured the most on your dates, as nice as it was to go out and make all these fancy memories, memories could easily be made in the comfort of your own home, with just the two of you and nothing else.
E ⇴ EXPERIENCE
He’d had a few brief relationships that he always kept private but being with you was his first long term relationship. He was very secretive of the two of you being together as he knew exactly how the media could be. He was of an age where he was beginning to seriously think about settling down, and he didn’t want anything to get in the way of that with you. With you, he was able to find a good balance between everything he did at work, but also being able to come home to someone being there waiting for him.
F ⇴ FIGHTING
Just like Leeteuk, he was bit of a peacemaker within the group, he hated arguments more than anything, he’d do whatever it took to prevent one from happening. If he does feel like he’s getting angry, he becomes very conscious of his words and how he speaks to you, he’ll try hard to explain how he feels without losing his cool and raising his voice at you. As much as he dreams of having the perfect relationship and always being the perfect gentleman, he knows it’s not possible, so instead he tries hard to limit the impact of an argument or a disagreement.
G ⇴ GETTING TO KNOW HIS FAMILY
He was a very family orientated person; it was so important to him that you got on with his family. Seeing how close he was with your family intimidated you greatly, Siwon knew you were nervous, and reassured you all the time. When you finally met them, they were all so keen to meet the girl that had stolen his heart.
H ⇴ HOME
Siwon was quite keen to move you into his house quite quickly into your relationship, he enjoyed your company, and there was no point hanging around when he knew what he wanted. It definitely took you by surprise when he first suggested it, but as you thought about it, it seemed like the perfect idea for you both.
I ⇴ “I LOVE YOU”
He’d always been very open with his feelings, and realising he was in love with you was no different. As the two of you laid one night after spending the evening at his place, he couldn’t help but whisper the words down to you as you began to fall asleep against his chest. You were a little too sleepy to realise what he’d said, simply humming in response.
J ⇴ JEALOUSY
It was a feeling he never really experienced, he was very self-assured and relaxed in your relationship, seeing you speak to someone else or mess around never really phased him. On the very rare occasions that he did feel jealous, he’d subtly pull you to one side so that he didn’t make a scene and mention to you how he was feeling. Once you knew, you’d quickly include him in whatever it was you were doing and stand a little bit closer to his side just to make sure that he felt reassured and relaxed about everything.
K ⇴ KIDS
It’s well known that Siwon loves his family and wants to start a family of his own. When he met you, he couldn’t help but soon begin to think about having children in the future. It was something he was always open with you about, and even though the two of you decided not to pressurise the situation too much, if it happened, it was definitely going to be something that you were both happy about.
L ⇴ LAUGHTER
He laughed at most things, and you were no different. You’d often see him walk across the room to high five you in response to a funny joke or lean on you when he couldn’t contain himself. Whilst others, specifically Ryeowook, struggled with it, you loved that he was so affectionate when he was laughing. He loved to make you laugh too, he didn’t care what he looked like as long as he was making you smile. He’d tickle your sides or pull a funny face, it might have been ridiculous, but if it made you happy then he didn’t mind.
M ⇴ MISSING
There were plenty of times when Siwon had to leave you, he was busy not just in Korea, but overseas too. During the early stages of your relationship, he didn’t struggle to much. Homesickness developed over a long time for him, as he grew closer with you and fell for you more, he missed you more when he was away. He’d try and bring you on as many trips as he could with you, but that wasn’t always possible. When he was away, he’d call you often and arrange for flowers and gifts to be sent to the house to let you know that he was thinking about you, whilst also hoping they’d help put a bit of a smile on your face.
N ⇴ NICKNAMES
He only ever called you, ‘love,’ he liked traditional nicknames, and nothing could express his feelings as well as that. You’d often call him, ‘smiler,’ as he always seemed to have a smile on his face no matter what.

He was obsessed with your smile, knowing he made you happy was the best feeling in the world for him. Your smile always brought a smile onto his face too, seeing you smile always made him feel on top of the world.

Siwon’s quite subtle when it comes to PDA, whilst he’ll always have a hold of your hand regardless of where you are, he’ll often sneak in a kiss or something when he feels that no one is looking. You’ll always hit against his chest when he does, but he’ll tell you not to worry, he’s allowed to give you a kiss if he wants to.

Every morning, without fail, even if you were apart, Siwon would always ask you if you slept well, and every night when you went to sleep, he’d always make sure that you’d had a good day, and if you hadn’t, he’d promise you tomorrow would be better.
R ⇴ RANDOM FACT
Whenever he was on stage or in an interview, especially if he was abroad, he had a little habit that let you know he was thinking of you. When he was asked to introduce himself, he’d always scratch above his eyebrow three times. To everyone else, it seemed normal, but every time you saw it, you knew it was Siwon letting you know that he loved you, hence why he did it three times, he never counted more or less, always getting it spot on.

He was an old school romantic, he always made sure to treat you perfectly. He loved to use the strength in his arms to his advantage and dominate the situation. He loved to take his time and make sure that you really felt appreciated. He also loved when your hands felt his body, which he always loved to show off to you.

It was rare for Siwon to call you, he much preferred to ring you and be able to hear your voice. If he did text, it would usually be something quick, just checking in on how you were doing, or letting you know he’d ring you when he had a moment.

It scared him quite often how much he fell for you and how big of an impact you’d had on his life. It was difficult for him to pinpoint how you’d changed his life, because you had done in so many ways, he was just thankful that you’d been there.

As he was so busy, he never really had time for a holiday, so to make up for it he’d try and get you on as many work trips as he could with you. At least he could use his free days whilst he was away to do something with you, even if it never quite felt the same as a holiday. You were happy with even just a day or two with him though, knowing he made the effort was enough.

He wouldn’t so much as whine, but if a joke really tickled him, he’d let go of a loud screech, applauding his hands and stamping his feet.

They’re definitely his love language, in private especially he’ll love to wrap his arms around you and press several kisses against your cheeks and along your neck. “Remember Arizona, that’s where we parked.” I told Siwon as I locked the car.
“Are all the parking floors named after states?” Siwon asked. I nodded. “It’s called the Mall of America, isn’t it?”
Hand in hand, we walked in through the Macy’s entrance. “So, Siwon, important question. Do you want to start from the bottom floor and work our way to the top, or start at the top and work our way to the bottom?”
He turned to me. “You’re the expert, jagi. You decide.”
“Bottom floor it is then!” We headed down to the escalators to the bottom floor. “The mall has a pretty simple set up. It’s basically a giant square with Nickelodeon at the center. We can walk around the whole first floor, then pop up to the second, and then the third and forth, all at the same spots.”
“How long do you think it will take us to go around the first floor?” Siwon asked. I thought about it for a moment. “Even if we only stop at a few places, probably an hour. If we stop at Nickelodeon, though, it’ll take a lot longer.”
“And what’s Nickelodeon, jagi?” I grinned. “It’s better if I show you.”
We walked a little further down the section of the mall until we came to the entrance of the Lego store. “It’s right behind here, babe,” I said, leading him around the store to see the amusement park before us. Siwon’s face was like a kid in a candy store as we walked into the park. “This place is insane...” he said in awe.
An hour and half passed and we had gone on almost every ride in the park. We grabbed some coffee at the Caribou kiosk and sat down on a bench to relax for a moment. “You see why I said we won’t be able to do it all in one day?” I asked with a smile.
“Honestly,” Siwon began, “I think I’d feel accomplished even if we only finish one floor today.”
I nodded. “Me too. So where to next?”
“Could we just wander and see what we find?” Hand in hand, we set off to find an interesting store. Ten minutes later, I spotted Hot Topic ahead. “Siwon, let’s go here! I wanna see if they have the SuJu shirts and get one.”
“Yah, you don’t need a Super Junior shirt when you’ve got me, right?” Siwon said.
I pouted. “You said you’d buy me what I wanted...” He sighed and followed me into the store. I headed straight for the back wall where the band shirts usually were. A few rows of kpop shirts were in front of me, and I searched quickly for the Super Junior ones, Siwon looking alongside me.
“Ta-da!” he exclaimed, pulling one out in just the right size. “It’s actually a pretty nice shirt.”
“You should get a matching one,” I joked. Siwon thought about it for a moment, then pulled one out in his size. I grabbed a Shinee shirt, too, and we went to check out.
After we left the store, I leaned up to kiss Siwon on the cheek. “Thanks, babe.” I said. “Of course, jagi. Let’s go get some food now, I’m starving.”
“Oh, me too! There’s a really good sandwich place up on the fourth floor, let’s head up this escalator.”
