Do we ever get any mention of Protagonist meeting his parents ever again after the storyline?

Not really. The ending text for Amane's 8th Day basically mention how he's going to other countries and negotiating with guardian gods. No mention of his parents. He could have, or he couldn't have.

Alternatively, them finding out their son is the Overlord. (Assuming he didn’t take the kill all the humans end)

Or that, and finding out he went to the demon world. Awkward.
