Dean/ Toby continued...
By the time the Impala pulled up at the motel Toby had fallen asleep, Dean tried to shake him awake but with no luck, wondering how long it had been since the boy had slept he exited his own seat and walked around to the passenger side, pulling Toby out carefully and slinging him over his shoulder, the kid was light and bony, it was probably good he couldn’t feel pain right now because Dean was pretty sure there was a broken arm at the least,
As he carried Toby to the motel room, the door swung open, warm light spilled out and bathed the path in front of them.
Sam folded his arms with a smirk, stepping aside to allow his brother in.
“Couldn't wake him up.”
Dean explained laying Toby down on one of the two beds.
“You find any leads?”
“Yes, quite a bit actually, its a thing called slender man, or the Operator, Toby here is what appears to be called a proxy.”
“Proxy?”
Dean frowned, opening a bottle of Budwiser.
“Yes, people who work on behalf of this operator, those headaches, nausea, loss of memory and time they are all symptoms, we can’t save him Dean, if this thing has to be stopped.... we have to destroy the proxy’s.”
The brothers looked to the boy who lay, twitching now and again in his sleep.
