Old and battered Talus

What do you think adult skadrin look like? I imagine they are much, much bigger than little talus.

Oh man I have so many ideas about this you have no idea but I’ll limit this to the specifics of this ask so I don’t write a ten-mile long essay. -Mod Inara

-Adult Ska’Drin are most likely pretty large. Currently Talus is tiny as heck, smaller than an average human child apparently (I mean Maeve is child-sized but he’s smaller than her), but he would eventually grow to a massive height, possibly almost as tall as Inara. That being said, Ska’Drin likely age slower than both humans and elves, so it’ll take a while for Talus to outgrow his pipsqueak status. 

-As adults, their hair is usually very long and wild, and they do not cut it in their culture, except under extreme circumstances. Their horns would also be much more evident and some Ska’Drin would grow small tusks when mature. There isn’t much distinction between the different genders of the Ska’Drin as adults, they pretty much look identical except for the females having slightly larger and sharper ears. 

-Ska’Drin will usually receive several runic tattoos during particular stages in their lives, each tattoo symbolising a different rite of passage or special accomplishment. By the time they are adults, most of their bodies would be covered in these symbolic runes. They don’t provide power or anything though - runes that grant power are not to be flaunted on their bodies for outsiders to see.
