☕ Do you do warmup sketches before drawing? (Bonus: do you have any to share?)

I have many sketches that have realistically served as warmups but I was, when I started them, intending to make them finished pieces? Other than that, I rarely make the decisions to do warmups. I should.  

🙃 Which is easier: faces facing left, right, or front view?

God I do NOT like drawing front views. I wanna say right now I can imagine a face facing left would be easier on my hand but I rarely pick up a pencil anymore and digitally I just flip the canvas constantly. 

🐻 Your go-to things to draw when you need comfort?

My first thought is Tom? Tom Lucitor? And smiles. I think all my draw smiles come from wanting to be comforted. Like, you have seen these before but:

I’m the most boring bitch ever but I just fucking listen to Philip Glass’ 1st Violin Concerto on repeat. Sometimes I listen to slowed down versions of songs or fuckin Sigur Ros.

Would you stab your best friend in the back for the chance to talk to your hero? It’s Murder Week at the University of Atascadero and the stakes could not be higher. Renowned surgeon and former Surgeon General Toshinori will be speaking with students after finals, and the only way Izuku can win a spot at the table is to systematically ‘kill’ his classmates with the plastic knives that bear their names. But there are only so many places to hide, and it’s going to take a lot more than luck and immunity-by-nudity to be the last one standing.

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?Is it even Spun by the Moon if I don’t say the canoe joke? …Okay I re-skimmed everything. It’s still the canoe joke. I love that joke.

11: What do you like best about this fic?I think the two quotes above sort of illustrate it - I love that this story wasn’t afraid to be silly! This was also my first Resbang, so the whole project is just incredibly special to me. I made so many friends that year and had a dream partner in @aquabella888 :) Writing it was such a great experience and Camp Crescent Moon and its shenanigans will always have a big place in my heart <333

Life rarely ever goes as planned. This is hard for Maka to understand as an up-and-coming law student with her future laid out in black and white, and even harder for Soul, who is still getting used to the idea that he has a future at all. But when their lives intersect through a strange turn of food-related events, they’ll have to decide whether to let their pasts define them, or find the courage to start again.

yall!!! madi wrote a wonderful story that resonated with my heart since the day I saw the summary. one of my favorite things about fanfics is that sometimes we get to see our favorite characters deal with real life “monsters” and still kick ass and this story is pretty much that. it also has jokes and friendship and all the ridiculousness you’d expect from our favorite kids. madi did an amazing job and you guys are in for a treat!! plz shower her with love!
