Things I wonder about:

"Cold War" is set on a 1980s Soviet submarine so the crew is all male. Okay, okay, I will buy that...

...but why couldn't Grand Marshal Skaldak, "the greatest hero the proud Martian race has ever produced," have been female? Because, frankly, that would've been awesome.
