Sana: Well, you know..If I'm to become a surgeon like you one day, I need good grades.

Dad: You'll make it.

Mom: You are good at it, Sana.

Dad: You'll make it, I promise you you'll do it.

Mom: You're getting better grades than what I got. It'll be fine!

Dad: I'm tired, really tired of that car.

Mom: Yes, I understand that.

Sana: How is..Jamilla doing?

Mom: Good. How nice of you to ask. She's started studying to become a nurse. I think she enjoys it.

Noora: Is anything wrong? You're so quiet lately

Dad: Here we have them, the boys!

Elias: Everything alright?

Dad: Yes, good. And with you? Now everything's okay, you're all together.

Elias: Sure, as always.

Dad: What's up, then?

Elias: Well, we're going to..

Adam: To play football.

Elias: Yes, the football field.

Dad: Football? Don't forget the bottle. The water bottle, I mean.

Elias: Right! The bottle! (nudges Yousef) yeah.

Dad: Hey, then we've agreed to buy a new one?

Mom: Yes, I agree, but we'll have to plan it a bit first.

Dad: We have to buy a new one. As simple as that, a new one.

Noora: I've left the bus, too. Can't be bothered if you're not there

Regarding the title of this clip: Gutta boys. This is impossible to translate - it’s an expression we sometimes use in Norwegian when we talk to/about a group of guys who are buddies, always hanging out together. When we use this expression, it’s kind of like ...you want to “acknowledge” them being a group of cool, good guys. This probably makes zero sense.  It’s also an expression which the younger generation tends not to use much, as it’s a bit old-fashioned/awkward, but parents/grandparents often use it.

It translates literally to: The boys boys.

* Chris is literally saying ‘Gardis’ which is a nickname she probably made up for Gardermoen, Norway’s biggest airport, outside of Oslo. (It’s quite a typical thing to put -is at the end of a shortened name to make it a nickname. Hmm, maybe this should be something for #SKAMSPEAK? :D Thanks, Chris! )
