Skavenslayer in a nutshell:

Fritz von Halstadt: My paranoia is matched only by my extreme gullibility. I shall hire these evil, chaos-worshipping rat people who want to enslave humanity and use them to spy on my enemies! They are very reliable and definitely not lying to me about everything.

Gotrek: My superpower is being totally unkillable and able to KO anything with one axe blow.

Felix: My superpower is literacy. I went to the public library and found a map of the sewer system, you guys! Now we can sneak into van Halstadt’s house through the sewers and find out wtf he’s doing with the evil rat people.

Gotrek: And then kill him.

Felix: Sure, whatever.

Grey Seer Thanquol, a rat person: My superpower is backstabbing. I plan to backstab van Halstadt eventually because fucking obviously. I will also backstab all my coworkers to stop them from succeeding at anything before I do, because if rat people take over the city and someone else gets credit for it I will bite my own tail off.

And now for something that can not be bought because I made it up myself. Let me present to you: The Cauldron of Pestilence!

Yes I got the idea from the book “Skavenslayer” and as I had a few bitz left over from the Screaming Bell I build (will show that one, next week), I thought that I would build my own Cauldron of Pestilence.

The Skaven minis for this horrible thing were made by “Games Workshop” (https://www.games-workshop.com) the rest was made by me and my handy bag of bitz. I made it so that the Pestilence mage can be taken to the battlefield with his Cauldron or just as himself.

And as this unit does not really exists in Age of Sigmar, I had to create some rules for it. They are not battletested so they may be overpowered but hey, in the end its just for my homebrew stuff. :-)

After I posted Gotrek the Trollslayer last week (surprisingly he got just one like - can´t imagine why though) I had to give you my version of his best “friend” and companion the poet Felix Jaeger (Jäger). 

This mini was created by “Dark Sword Miniatures” (https://www.darkswordminiatures.com) and is part of the Game of Thrones series. This one is normally “Jon Snow” but it seemed perfect for Felix Jaeger. He wears a red cloak and an often repaired mail shirt and wields a magical dragon hating sword that sometimes takes over his mind (whenever a dragonlike creature is in sight).

Hope you like him because I do. :-)

Well that had to come, now didn’t?

I could not possibly post Gotrek Gurnision and Felix Jaeger without also posting their greatest enemy the grey seer Thanqoul on his Boneripper number ... (I don’t know). As far as I know all earlier Bonerippers were killed by Gotrek to the great surprise and shock of Thanqoul who usually opted for a tactical retreat in light of his henchmans death.

Anyway, this great mini was of course created by “Games Workshop” (https://www.games-workshop.com/) and is part of the official Skaven line. That means it has its own official rules. Though I know I should have used the flaming fists OR the flamethrowers. But hey that means I just have to halve all the possible attacks on the rulesheet but can use both. At least when I play homebrew else I have to just declare before the minis are set on the table what kind of weapons he is going to use for the whole of the battle. Just seemed more logical that Thanqoul would modify his ratogre so it has ranged and melee capabillities. 

Anyway I had a lot of fun painting this incredibly designed mini. I used a green wash for the first time to give the copper parts a more weathered look.
