It not that weird of an ask, and I quite enjoy fun facts of these kinds of animals 😊

Hmm…..I don’t have many on hand…..

Oh! I actually learned yesterday that because frogs are mostly just mouths with legs that have enough force to shoot them at the food, a lot of their muscles are mostly specialized in that area except for two seemingly innocuous muscles that help them blink

However, because of all the muscles dedicated to their tongue, mouth, and legs, and their mostly oval shaped bodies, they have trouble swallowing what they catch, so you know how they swallow?

They swallow with those eye muscles! With their eyes!

And I just think that’s kind of neat 😄

(You might need to fact check me on the specific mechanics of how this works, but overall I think I got the gist right. Tho I love them, I’m not an expert on amphibians and reptiles 😅)

What happens in chapter 4 of A Hitchhiker’s Guide for Android? 👀👀👀

....Ah, it’s been sitting in my WIP folder since March because quarantine completely wiped all motivation to work on it,

But basically it’s a Sanders Sides AU where Logan is an Android that gains sentience and escapes from the lab he was been kept.

He was built to be a spy android so he passes for human. He runs off to a little town crested between the mountains called Cardinal Valley and tries to find an apartment and job. He meet the other Sides when he’s applying to work at a little café after his 4th attempt to get a job and inadvertently stops a robbery. He, uh, get the job after that lol. Goes to his new apartment and finds out the people he just saved are his new neighbors, welp. The next day when going in for his interview (because he only applied the previous day, robbery distracted from other stuff tbh) he runs into Patton, the cashier/baker working at the café and his new neighbor. Patton is super grateful Logan saved his life, so he invites him to dinner to introduce him to his other neighbors and as a thank you. This is a small problem for Logan because he is a machine and has never eaten before, but he manages to make a work around to this problem by the time dinner comes around. At Patton’s house Logan officially meets the other two neighbors who were also at the café the day of the robbery, Roman and Virgil. They have lasagna and ice cream topped with strawberry jelly for dessert. (You see in canon, Logan really likes Crofters jelly, one might say in love with, so while, as a machine, he still doesn’t enjoy eating that much, he makes an exception for the jam of all jams). They have a wonderful time and talk and try to get to know one another all night (Logan of course having to lie about his origins because....Android) and promise to meet up again soon. (That’s chapters 1-3) Chapter 4 Logan was supposed to go on his first day of work at the café with Patton and more bonding was supposed to happen. Might still continue it. My heart is just real out of it recently.

I don’t know why but whenever I see your username I never see skeletons love rock candy it’s always skeletons lover rock candy. And my brain just goes with it. “Oh they like skeletons” “rock candy” makes perfect sense. (Then again this is tumblr)

Back my first year on tumblr I kept misreading @farflypants username as Farfy-pants in my head and I sometimes called them Farfy in reference to them in my brain. Tho I’ve now corrected this to Far Fly Pants

And I still struggle if I’m pronouncing @ianasha correctly (is it like i-an-aa-sha? iana-sha??)

But I think that’s normal lol, there are some strange usernames out there jsksjksj
