I rewatched TBOL and decided to work on my stylization/revamp my designs for Jorge, Carmelo, and Anita
“If she’s this dedicated as a thumb-sucking toddler, she’ll grow up to be a BEAST!”
A little comic of my favorite Sanchez ancestors about the first time Anita pretended to be a boy in order to participate in fighting thousand pound bulls. And no one’s capable of denying that face. Click for captions

Friend: What would your dream partner be like?
Me: Well, they'd be sweet and genuine but also a sassy and overdramatic. They'd be romantic and classy but also a total doof. Maybe they'd sing and be tall. Tall like "my neck might break if i look you in the eyes again". Scars are nice so they'd be a bit roughed up. A pile of big poofy curly hair and facial hair is awesome. They'd be fantastic with a sword. They'd be a matador. They're Jorge Sanchez my dream partner is Jorge Sanchez
One thing that bothered me in TBoL that I don't think I've seen anyone else discuss is the way Jorge calls Carmelo a savage multiple times and it's supposed to be funny and/or endearing
And before I go on let me say I loved the film for the most part. I've gone to watch it more than once
Keep in mind that their designs are meant to evoke conquistadores and Mesoamerican civilizations, respectively. I don't claim to be an expert on the relationship between those groups and their descendants, but this whole thing seems kinda messed up
Visual aid: I don't think the British had anything quite equivalent to conquistadores, so just picture a stereotypical colonial soldier calling a stereotypical Native American a savage and everyone just having a big laugh about it
so real talk///.../. if i made a jorge sanchez ask blog thingy would anyone be interested?//?/?
kinda sequel to this
i have officially entered skeleton hell god dammit
