@skeletonconceptofficial are starting 2022 the right way, with this off-series incredible timepiece! This customization project was commissioned by a professional art connoisseur who particularly affectionates @gloriagalleryparis, a contemporary art gallery in Paris. He chose to name his concept after the place. The French atelier decided to personalize a Cosmograph Daytona with an architectural skeletonized movement entirely made of 18K Gold. The tachymeter bezel is in forged carbon. The bezel is highlighted by the golden dial ring while the subdials are painted in a rich racine-green color to maximize the contrast of the movement. The timepiece is sharply skeletonized with a game of texture. They opted for both polish and satin finishes and angled each element by hand. The Gloria concept is a powerful and extremely refined timepiece. @skeletonconceptofficial SKELETON CONCEPT X BLAISE MATUIDI Weeks of preparations - and it’s finally here: the Matuidi Concept - designed with and for the Fifa world champion, former Paris @psg and @juventus , @blaisematuidiofficiel Together with Blaise Matuidi, we decided to skeletonize his GMT-MASTER II, turning this already beautiful timepiece into an exceptional concept. The central idea was to praise the football universe throughout the design of the skeleton movement as well as reflect Matuidi’s “feet on the ground” personality. We decided to entirely reshape the automatic winding module and the dial, coloring it in a beautiful matte green, to add extra sophistication to the model. It is like having a totally different timepiece once in the dark thanks to the special luminescent intra-ceramic lazer glass we added: it illuminates the entire movement once in the dark - thus accentuating the illusion of volume and depth. The changes made combined with the monochrome ceramic black bezel and the sumptuous oyster steel case and bracelet, turn this timepiece into an example of elegance and simplicity. SKELETON CONCEPT X PASTOR MALDONADO Thanks to @pastormaldo, we got the perfect excuse to ask our master watchmakers to go back to the origins of the Daytona 116520, and challenge them into pushing the limits of this iconic model furthermore! We aimed to honor the racing driver Pastor Maldonado with a unique timepiece that would reflect the vibes and eclectic @F1 circuits and imprint the timepiece of its special atmosphere. The Maldonado Concept required several months of assiduous work to achieve this result of architectural design, for the dial, as well as to achieve the special blue “Bleu horloger” used for the entire movement. This is not a color you see often on a timepiece, even in high horology. It’s only achievable by the fewest best master-watchmakers in the world for the color is complicated to obtain and very difficult to apply on the piece. The bezel of the watch is made of grade 5 Titanium and blends itself smoothly with the Oyster steel bracelet, for a matte finish, the overall emphasizing the beauty and simplicity of the skeletonized blue movement. We love how this timepiece is both spectacular and minimalist at the same time. It unmistakably screams “racing cars” and “ @F1 tournaments”, while staying majestically elegant.
