Seeing how Sketchbook for Android updated recently, I though it was time to see how much my skills have updated during the last year. Hard to believe I thought this was peak art back then :D

About 18 months ago (give or take), I discovered Samsung S-pen tablets and Sketchbook Mobile and it was like a whole new world. I’d tried digital art before, but I just never got used to drawing on a standard graphics tablet. And doing traditional art required supplies and space :( So here’s to another year of improvement, may I stay motivated and may my back forgive me :D

Reposting this for the #sketchbookredraw challenge from @autodesksketchbook I don't have time to make another one, but I made this one just two weeks ago. I think I especially got quite a bit better in posing and anatomy, but also in using flow and shapes in my art. I just gonna redrawn this from long time ago when I got original sketchbook pro and drawn a first velociraptor-type dinosaur for sketchbook pro before I got another app a same title as upgraded. It might be not able to color it as anyone else, but this is might to be known as W.I.P. (Work in progress) sketch. Until 3 years later, as #sketchbookredraw came along, so I decided to redraw a raptor again and this time I just wanted to sketch a bird-like necked neck to make a turkey-vulture-like realistic neck, because this raptor was closely related to birds, why not makeup some non-scaly bumpy skin of other featherless headed birds to make them as more real as possible. So here is my redrawn of a featherless head of a raptor, it doesn’t mean it may look like a huge body of a featherless raptor from Jurassic Park/World franchise. It’s been less than a year!

Saw that Sketchbook had something about redrawing, so posting this here. Improved a lot in backgrounds, lighting, anatomy, and pretty much everything. These were both drawn on Sketchbook (the free version).
