A Stark Thanksgiving by sketchditto

A quick sketch and coloring of a Stark Thanksgiving. I know, this would never happen in the books and Thanksgiving started with the Pilgrims and native Americans in Plymouth centuries ago. Also Catelyn probably wouldn't be the one serving the turkey, nor have Jon Snow, Theon and Septa Mordane at the table. Also the direwolves won't be near the table either! Ah well, it's nice to imagine it anyways in a Winterfell parallel universe! This was done in pencil and then colored digitally. This layout follows Norman Rockwell's iconic "Freedom from Want" painting.

Sandor and Sansa - an homage to Eric Earnshaw by sketchditto

There's this wonderful painting by Eric Earnshaw I saw while I was flipping through one of my artbooks, 'Lifestyle Illustration of the 60's'. As I studied the image, I couldn't help but think Sandor and Sansa and that scene where Sandor rescued Sansa from a bunch of vicious men! Earnshaw's painting was very minimalistic yet really well designed - so this is an homage to his painting and an homage to HBO's Game of Thrones scene where Sandor rescued Sansa (*spoiler - which was slightly different from the book!) I must have this.  Drinking coffee from this Sansan mug will magically turn me from the hideous morning beast that I am into a lovely, pleasant person.  It will, I just know it.
