kay, so I'm just going to assume unless it's the "holiday season" retail never hire. applied to a couple places, immediately get an email saying I don't meet the minimum requirements. so I walk in and ask the managers about their minimum requirements. they have no idea. they straight up tell me they have no clue what goes on with the applications. I mention the position the website sates needs filled. they tell me they haven't actually needed a position filled since the summer. can I just move out of this shitty country now? is there anyone out there that lives in NOT the US where there's actually places hiring and willing to train the skilless? because that doesn't exist in America. the only places I refuse to apply to are food industry and it's because I cannot handle the stress of being in a kitchen (I'm apparently not good looking enough to be a host/waiter/buss-boy).
