Well, a greeting’s usually a good place to start, and since she doesn’t look like she’s about to offer one… “Hi, Simmons.”

Her lips thin. She doesn’t say anything.

Something in his chest goes tight, stretched thin and long like a rubber band approaching its breaking point—or just like her mouth. He’s not used to this expression from her, closed off and cold. She used to smile at him.

But it’s been a really long time since anyone smiled at him. He doesn’t know what he was expecting.

Jemma/Skye/Ward?

1. Angst

Grant is in the basement reaching new levels of creepdom and Skye, unlike Jemma, doesn’t have parents to run home to; stung by abandonment, she leaves Jemma increasingly angry and hurtful voicemails and, once she finds out where she actually is (risking her life in HYDRA every day, surrounded by the enemy, while Skye’s been whining about talking to a guy behind a barrier), feels like the worst person alive.

2. AU

“Can we keep her?” Skye asks, and while this whole Bonnie and Clyde thing doesn’t really work as well with a third...well, he can’t deny Jemma’s worth keeping.

3. Crack

“Okay, I’m sorry, I’m really gonna need some backstory on how you got us named Queens of a country we’ve never set foot in.”

4. Future Fic

The ground shakes beneath them and Grant grins through bloody teeth; he doesn’t know if that was Daisy’s power or one of Jemma’s bombs, but he does know that HYDRA’s about to see the error of its ways.

5. First Time

Skye makes a joke about Grant’s endurance, whether he can really handle two girls---”especially super sexy ones like us”---at once, and it turns out to be the best thing she’s ever said; he’s got something to prove, and does so thoroughly.

6. Fluff

Grant is deeply asleep, having surrendered to four nights’ worth of exhaustion, and though Jemma and Skye are wide awake, they’re loathe to leave him, and so spend hours lying on either side of him, keeping themselves entertained in quiet activity; Grant’s abs, it turns out, make an excellent table for a board game.

7. Humor

“Yes, fine, I admit that I lured you into a trap, but before you start shouting, I want it made clear that the feathers were Skye’s idea.”

8. Hurt/Comfort

Skye doesn’t know whether she or Jemma is shaking harder, but she guesses it doesn’t matter; they cling to each other and to Grant and let his whispered promises of protection sink into their skin.

9. Smut

Skye gets lost in the strength of Grant’s hands and the taste of Jemma’s skin, Jemma’s soft hair and Grant’s warm mouth, and sensation melts into sensation until all she knows is more and yes and there.

10. UST

Skye is in a sports bra and Grant is shirtless and they’re right in front of her lab, which is utterly unfair; an hour in, Jemma undoes the top three buttons on her shirt and makes a point of leaning over the table nearest the windows---an effort rewarded when Skye drops her water bottle and Grant ends training a full twenty minutes early.

Skye centric fic "does that require pants?"

This turned into a Skye/Simmons/Ward thing. Because of reasons. Sorry? Except not really.

“I’ve got an idea.”

Skye cracks an eye open to look at Grant, who’s standing atthe end of the bed. He’s wearing his jeans, for some reason, but he’s stillshirtless, and she takes a second to appreciate the sight. Visually, at least.Her eyes are really enjoying it, but the rest of her body is apparently closedfor business, because it totally fails to react.

She’s so sexed out that she can’t even get turned on by thesight of Grant Ward shirtless and covered in hickies. She doesn’t know whetherthat’s awesome or worrying.

“Does it require pants?” she asks, opening her other eye andshifting to look at him better. “Because I’m so not about that.”

“No pants required,” he promises, mock-solemn.

“Then I might be into it,” Skye allows. “Jemma?”

Jemma, who’s snuggled up to Skye, sighs and opens her eyes. “Willit require movement?”

“Yeah,” Grant says, with a little half smile. “It is gonnatake some movement.”

“No pants but yes movement,” Skye muses. “Is your idea moresex?”

“Ugh,” Jemma says, and hides her face in Skye’s shoulder. “Ido believe he’s trying to kill us.”

“Huh.” Skye eyes Grant, considering. “You know, that’sexactly the kind of sneaky, diabolical plan a SHIELD specialist would come upwith, isn’t it? Death by sex.”

Grant is wearing that long-suffering face he always puts onwhen he’s trying to hide the fact that the team makes him feel all mushyinside. He totally loves them all.

“I’m not trying to kill you,” he says. It sounds prettypracticed; she wonders how often he has to promise people he’s not trying tokill them. Probably a lot. “And the idea isn’t more sex.”

“Oh, thank goodness,” Jemma sighs, then frowns. “Hm. I mightbe broken.”

“Don’t worry,” Skye says, squeezing Jemma’s waist. They’reall tangled up; it’s nice. “I’m right there with ya.”

Honestly, she has no idea how Grant’s even conscious right now, let alone standing.They’ve had so much sex today; it’s a little ridiculous. Literally, all the sexhas been had. It was totally incredible and probably illegal in like twelvestates and Skye doesn’t regret a single second of it, but man, is sheexhausted.

Grant’s looking kind of quietly smug, which is fair—seriously,how is he standing? All Skye wants is a nap—but she makes a practice never toleave him like that. Can’t have him getting a big head, right?

(And the fact that she’s not even tempted to turn that intoa double entendre, even mentally, is proof of just how exhausted she is.)

“Okay, so if it’s not sex, what is your idea?” she asks. “Fairwarning, if it’s for me to do my evening work-out I might actually shove youout a window.”

He rolls his eyes. “I think we’ve both gotten just about asmuch of a work-out as we can take today.”

Skye exchanges a smug look and then a quick high five with Jemmaat him including himself in that. Score. They’re total sex goddesses.

“The idea,” hesays, looking kind of exasperated (she’s really familiar with this expression,too), “Is that we check out the jacuzzi.”

“Oh,” Jemma says. “That does sound nice.”

It really does.

This is a super nice hotel—nice enough that Skye feels kindof bad that two of the six rooms AC’s paying for are going unused—and thejacuzzi is amazing. It’s like thesize of a small swimming pool, and Skye absolutely wants to try it out beforethe weekend is up.

Which Grant knows because she mentioned it earlier.Pointedly. Right after she talked about how she wants to order room service atsome point. Which somehow came up after—

Wait.

Skye looks from Grant to Jemma to the empty room servicecart by the door and back to Grant.

“Wait, do you have—are you keeping a list?” she asks. “Ofall the things we wanna do?”

“Of course not,” Grant scoffs, but he’s looking a little redaround the ears.

He’s blushing.Skye cannot even handle this right now.

“He totally has a list,” she tells Jemma.

“Oh, yes,” Jemma says. “Undoubtedly.”

“That is so cute,”Skye says. “Isn’t that cute, Jemma?”

“He’s adorable,” she agrees, snuggling back into Skye’sside.

Grant makes a face like he can’t believe she just said that—which,fair. It’s kind of weird to have Jemma call anyoneadorable, since she’s literally the most adorable person on the planet. She’sall tiny and energetic and her eyes get all big when she’s excited—like abunny! She’s totally a bunny. A little science bunny.

Except that’s not totally true, because—as today has provedreally well—she can also be seriously sexy. She’s like a…sexy bunny, and youreally don’t see too many of those. Except—

“Oh my god,” Skye realizes. “You’re Lola Bunny!”

Jemma gives her a weirded-out look, but Grant’s facetwitches a little like he’s trying not to laugh, so Skye’s pretty sure he knowsexactly what she’s talking about andtotally agrees.

And wow, Grant’s seen SpaceJam. She knew he had a soul.

“I’m on to you,” she tells him, and he rolls his eyes.

“Okay,” he says. “Enough. Do you want to use the jacuzzi ornot?”

“Well, obviously,” she says, and looks at Jemma.

She scrunches her nose, which is just cute (and also moreproof of her bunny-like qualities). “I’m not against it, but I really don’t want to move. Perhapslater?”

“Well, that’s an easy fix,” Grant says, and rounds thecorner of the bed to sweep her into his arms.

Jemma actually squeaks, which is literally the most adorablesound that has ever been made by a human being, and clutches Grant’s shoulders.He’s looking smug again; one of the things they’ve learned about him thisweekend—which they really should have guessed, honestly—is that he’s kind ofgot a thing for using his strength and/or training against them.

(She totally should have seen that coming, with the way he’salways harping on about her strength training, but how was she supposed to knowit was a sex thing and not a boring SHIELD thing? Or not just a boring SHIELD thing.)

“Grant,” Jemma says, hitting his shoulder. “Put me down!”

“In a minute,” he says, and raises his eyebrows at Skye. “Youcoming?”

She grins and bounces to her feet—and gets a moment ofsmugness of her own at the way Grant and Jemma’s eyes follow her.

“Just try and stop me.”
