I definitely have the best training partners!!! It's been fun watching this kid, @nick_darkshadow grow up and turn into a complete monster since he started @crossfit in my 3-car garage back in 2007 when he was a teenager. The past 3 years we have been hitting it hard together and I have relied on him to push me and held up his end very well! Now I'm killing myself to keep in front of him haha. Thanks for push Nick! First- I've been chasing a 315 power clean for forever...Second- I've never been good at bouncing back from missed lifts. The negative thoughts creep in and I just can't ever get past it. When I snatch from the ground I tend to step forward after I catch and stand up but not so much from the hang. @olychad any drills to help with this or with my pull from the ground? #kinnick #crossfitkinnick @skins_usa #skins_USA #skinsfam
A lot of times I over think the snatch. Sometimes you gotta remember to keep it simple. Jump & catch. Finished up with 240# from the hang. Just missed 255# though. #kinnick #crossfitkinnick @skins_usa #skins_USA #skinsfam

Sometimes you just miss. Low back and legs were fatigued going into this. Hit a 20 min EMOM of 2 power snatch before this. Just hit 245# easily before this. Hips went up too fast and lost it out front slightly. Goal is 275# by the end of the year. #kinnick #crossfitkinnick #crossfit #skinsfam #skins_USA
