He was young, younger than most of her customers, and yet she had seen him before - he was the son of Steinar, the smith just outside of the village. This time, however, he was alone. He was tall, the fur around his shoulders making him more bulky than he probably was underneath, and he looked at her with an expression that told her he needed help.
"Lady Sigrúnn," he started, a little out of his depth. In the past, he had waited outside while his father spoke to the seer, but his father was not here and he had come, all alone, with nothing more than the bag he could carry. He needed her help, her insight, her guidance.
His mother had told him the Seeress would always guide him. And his mother's words had never proven to be untrue.
