Theatres and operas sell off their old stage costumes sometimes, if you’re after something really extra.

haha, used to have a regular at the old bookshop who exclusively dressed in clothes he’d bought at auction from london opera houses

unfortunately, i want good, wearable clothes that are warm outside and not just for looking pretty under hot stage lights, and i don’t live near any theatres that do better than shitty costume store standard costumes at best
