since you seem to like In Stars and Time, I figured I'd ask you what things you like/dislike about it (without giving spoilers)

In Stars and Time is an absolutely fantastic game. Its got a creative battle system, a beautiful story, a super interesting setting, and SUPERB characters. Not to mention the center of it all, the timeloop. It is so wonderfully crafted, you genuinely feel for Siffrin at a certain point. You lose interest in the combat system, you dive into every book you can find about this world in a desperate effort to not just stop the timeloop, but to find out important lore secrets too.

It is absolutely a 10/10 game and I do not say that lightly.

There is only one con, in my mind. And its that the game is... a little too good at telling its story. Because, listen, as someone who has had very severe, untreated depression for a long time, the game's story is. Painfully familiar.

This game shattered the thin walls I had built around my emotions. Suddenly I was getting worse than I had ever got before, and yet better than I had felt in years. I still havent rebuilt those walls. And thats terrifying and miserable sometimes. But sometimes... Its also nice.

... ISAT convinced my horrifically repressed and burnt out brain that those feelings are worth it, for better or for worse. And that means a lot.
