incoherent june thoughts (projection)

i've been meaning to sit down and process the wacky headcanon (projection) ideas that im incredibly biased about so i can speak about them coherently one day. obligatory "I really like plural June" i think it'd be neat cause she's Queen Repression and she wouldn't even notice it for the longest time, she'd think this is fine, that the thoughts in her head are her own, that banal normality imposed on her with her suburban upbringing would make her ignorant. To discover what is not meant to be discovered as well as repressing hard makes it more compelling for her to eventually discover it. She's had hints of dissociation in canon (being relatively unfazed seeing her dead dad), her subconscious rejection of reality numbs her, then she'll have overblown reactions to the wrong things.

Maybe one day she's going about her day as normal and a usual thought goes through her head, but it sounds a little different, familiar, as it has been there for the longest time, but stands out just enough to make her go "haha that's weird" and move on with her day. Then it comes back around, a bit more frequently. Occasionally she'll know she had a thought but won't know what it is, slightly confusing. She blames it on being tired. She doesn't have the words to explain her thoughts, she doesn't have the information to know what is going on, she doesn't even have the sense to know that her brain is different. She's ignorant, and I want to see her learn.
