       alone - - it was JUST the way that taryn liked to spend his days when        ace wasn’t around, or at least preoccupied.  he’s not focused on any        item in particular, not really, apart from the present SILENCE. it leads        to a ringing in his ears,  but he doesn’t mind,  not when he’s enjoying        the silence so much. ( is he truly enjoying it? or is that just a lie to get        himself through the DAY mostly sane? ) due to how tuned in with the        silence he was,  however,  he hears the being approaching before he        so much as sees them, already on alert. for all he knows,  it could be         a THREAT headed his way, after all.  yet when he looks up, the sight        the greets him stuns him:: he’s staring at himself, is he not?  perhaps        a shorter version, with a DIFFERENT aura about him, but it’s him. he        doesn’t  speak for the longest time,  & when he does,  his words  are        less than eloquent.
