Inktober 52 Week 22 - ‘Stranded’
I love the game Subnautica. First time in a long time I’ve had a game that I simply lost time too. I’d be playing at lunchtime and then look at the clock to see the sun had gone down and I should have been in bed an hour ago.
You are a character stranded on an alien ocean planet. And the goal is to survive. But there is a story buried there. The game lets you go at a leisurely pace and there are loads to discover. I had a go at making a few pages as if my character had been trying to keep an impromptu diary because her flashy digital one was acting up.
The PDA in game tells you not to eat the antennae of the hoop fish. I explored as to why!
Crabworms are my favourite horrors. 8D And bladder fish. Because I must have decimated the population to get water
There is also a sneaky Discworld reference. Banana sticker for who ever spots it!
Apologies for any spelling mistakes. I’m dyslexic and the paper has no spell checker. Maybe that just adds to the ‘stranded and without tech’ idea.
I finally got around to building this Hammerhead/Sky Ray that I’ve had since May. It’ll add some much-needed anti-vehicle capabilities to my army, plus it looks cool.
Sky Ray turret built!
Thought of the Day: Adamantium walls and plasteel bulkheads may seem formidable, but an unshakeable faith in the Immortal Emperor of Man can overcome any barriers.
