“Its so rare for us to catch a break like this.” You think out loud, you and your significant other, Choso, busying yourself in the kitchen, preparing for Christmas. Choso nods in agreement as he looks at you lovingly, a weird smell wafting through the kitchen. “But now that we have, let's make the best of it.”

You give him a deadpan. “Is that how you make the best of it? ” “Huh? What's wrong,my love? ” “Choso,you're literally burning the pancakes! ” you exclaim, horrified at the sizzling sound.

A ruined pan and a few burned pancakes later, Choso decided to follow you around the kitchen like a puppy as you make adorable gingerbread cookies. He offers to decorate them, and he does it beautifully too. After getting a lot of other snacks, you two trudge to the living room, which has a decorated Christmas tree and a blazing fireplace and strings of lights in the typical holiday spirit.

As you start to play cheesy old romcoms- Choso's preferred type, he hugs you tight on the couch, cuddling with you on the sofa in front of the TV. His comforting warmth is something that never fails to relax you. After a movie or two, he randomly says, “Love?” “Hmm?” “You do know that if you ever need anything,absolutely anything,you can come to me, right? I promise, I'll never let you be alone, okay?”

A small smile grows on your face at his warm words, knowing that he means every single word with the utmost sincerity. After all, Choso is someone who loves with his entire being when he does, and you're the lucky one to receive it.
