Realistically hornet should have scars, however I did not draw them (mostly because I didn’t think about, like giving her sea spider bits) so just pretend shes got these large knarly battle scars. If I draw more mermaids and Shes in it she’ll get her big old scars, just not this one. Ghost is an octopus, and their squishy :)

I’m currently playing through the original paper Mario, not that far in but it’s fun so far! I’m just enjoying how everyone talks, like muppets lol.

Ive play a thousand year door, but it was the remake. Also a fun game, one of the only RPGs I’ve played through! Anyways I thought this was funny lol, I’ll eventually play through all of the paper Mario’s (hopefully)…

Behold! A hollow knight-ified version of the wasp I had to get out of my sisters room today.

She knocked on my door to ask for help, and then asked me to go deal with said wasp. It turns out she asked our mom first only to be told to go ask me, because our dad wasn’t home and I’m the second person to go to for bug related problems! I, of course, did not want to be stung by a wasp should I fail, so she asked if I could come up for emotional support so she can deal with it. I was quickly promoted to more than emotional support straight to ‘knight in a slightly ragged blanket’, when we talked about the game plan and how nervous she was. I told her to get a container and we caught the poor fella. Definitely more confused about the whole thing.

All things considered she handled it pretty well! Shes scared of most insects, but she’s gotten better over the years. I imagine getting older and having a lizard who eats bugs sometimes cooled it over just a little. She even got pretty close to it when we got it in there! The wasp is fine, if not a little disoriented after being stuck in a room, then a Tupperware container, then flung outside to freedom.

A few years back she wouldn’t have been within five feet of the container, let alone in the room when they were caught. I’m really proud of her, I don’t think she’ll ever fully get over her fear if bugs, but maybe one day she’ll be able to catch any wasps that end up taking an unwanted pit stop in her vicinity were I’ll be actually just emotionally support! Until then I’ll be here willing to do it, albeit a little reluctantly do ti fear if being stung.

I drew the fluffy weaver from Sunday, whomst I may or may not have paired her up with the termite lady.

Both of these two do not have names, I will fix that later lol

Here it is without the border, I wanna draw more of her, I really like the thought of a fungus hive mind. Shes kinda fighting that control really hard, it’ll fail her eventually but she’s still her (mostly) currently, probably go into that when have something concrete!

With the whole ‘something taking over your body’ thing that happens in both games you’d think we’d see something with mushrooms lol, maybe later. Or I guess lifeblood kinda counts with how that works. Anywhooooo~ my favorite one is the one in the middle with the mane, although the one with the rainbow shrooms make me think of party hats lol.

I wanted to draw Dryya, and then spent a lot of this drawing white lady lmao, whomst I love so much look at her 🥹! I should’ve gave her cuffs and jewelry on her horns but I didn’t wanna cover up the texture. I love the thought of WL under her robes having a vaguely humanoid shape with like weirdly eldritch bits on account of her being a higher being, and a tree. I think I’ll draw that at some point mostly from wanting to make weird organs lol.

Also look at Dryya! A loyal guard ready to fight wars for her lady, I mean she did fight the traitors and clearly won even if she did die. I wish we knew more about the knights, the only ones we get ti interact with was Ze’mer and Ogrim, which is fine unfortunately that’s what happens when most of the kingdoms dead and it’s faaaaaar past it’s prime, but maybe we could get tidbits from Hornet later in with the DLCs for hkss. Realistically probably not, it’s a whole new game and Hornets most likely haven’t seen any of them for years. She probably doesn’t even remember their faces that well.

On a completely unrelated note I got an ad for the new horror movie about a murderous hippo (hungry) and apart from just preferring horror to just use fictional animals or they have something wrong with them like a zombie virus so the animal doesn’t get villainized. (Looking at you jaws) the quote of “hippos are herbivores, so when they hunt you it’s not because their hungry, it’s for fun” (paraphrasing here) that’s just wrong? Like objectively wrong. Their omnivores, they eat both plants and meat, their really aggressive yeah so don’t go up and try and pet one, but their not doing it fore fun. Their not a cat lol
