I now firmly believe that that was c!Wilbur’s gap year.

It’s screams first time living alone and truly realising what that means vibes.

The concentration on building the banner tower and decorating his space, the “this is fine”-ness of making his own fun with the obstacle course and the gate “game” when he had nothing to do, getting super emotionally attached to your pets and not being able to take care of them properly until you realise that maybe a fish is all the responsibility you can handle, the religion super run journey with the Sky Gods, wanting a roommate and immediately regretting it when one turns up.

Trying so many things, and most of them failing, soaring high and damn near crashing low, but having a full, rich experience that ultimately leaves you wiser, and maybe a little sadder, a little more worldly-wise, but in the end, stronger, and better than if you’d never left at all.
