angie’s religion is so demonized by the fandom and it’s like seriously not okay. like even ignoring the racism it’s rooted in because that’s a separate post, you do realize that there are religious people out there who aren’t cultists/don’t have religious trauma, right? angie’s religion was written so terribly in the game, and it’s a huge part of what turns me off from v3. but even with how much i dislike it, i still can’t help but see myself in angie, because of her close relationship with God. she’s a comfort character to me and i project the majority of my own religion-based feelings onto her, and imagine a lot of religious danganronpa fans feel similarly. now, taking into account the way i feel about angie, can you imagine how i react when she’s called a cultist or manipulator for her religion? yes, her religion’s writing was terrible in-game, but that doesn’t give you an excuse to be so terrible about it in fandom.

also, if you want a girlboss who manipulates a shitton of people into loving her and seeing her as a goddess, junko is like… right there…

syobai and irohas friendship is like. theyre forced to stay together bcs iroha cant do anything on her own and yuuki doesnt want her getting hurt so he bargains with syobai to take care of her. and he protects her but he doesnt like it and irohas constantly terrified hes gonna abandon her. and then yuuki comes to check up on them like a year later to make sure syobai didnt dump irohas body in the woods and syobais fucking drinking from a #1 dad mug that iroha got him for fathers day.
