“What do you think about this outfit?”
a really long, but categorized, ask memestatus: selective / for: @skylisms
Cleaning out his inbox filled with messages, Jun waits in the dressing room for Haneul to finish. She has tried on several dresses for a birthday party tomorrow night and all of them suit her — in Jun’s opinion. Not that Jun’s eye for fashion dulls, she to him simply looks drop dead amazing in all of them. The woman that works the dressing room has brought her a selection of some of the most insane cuts, presumably hoping to find one that actually doesn’t flatter Haneul, but fails instantaneously. Jun says nothing but compliments as he stifles the words Does it matter? You look best in my shirts anyway.
As far as the party goes, Jun is ordered to escort her, whether or not he planned to go. Having worked with her father for a few years, one of which in London, he grew close to the family. He is aware of her family’s political background and knows that if something were to happen, it would take place at a reunion such as a birthday or a wedding.
“Haneul,” he starts, his English proceeding with its Estuary-flavor. “I literally cannot think of a dress you’ve tried on that I haven’t wanted to take off myself. It means you look absolutely stunning.”
