Going on a rant because of my last reblog. I was absolutely astonished at the hate that the picture of Skyler Ortiz and Shereen Jenkins at Pride in Ohio got. For one thing, they are not actually engaged. It was a kid proposal. But even if it was a real engagement, people should still treat them with respect. NOTHING justifies hating someone that way. Also, regardless of what they wear or how they act, they are both women. That is the whole point of a lesbian relationship - two girls. There isn't a "man" in the relationship. While I respect people with differing opinions, I don't respect or tolerate people expressing those opinions with rudeness or disrespect. I will be at Twin Cities Pride this weekend with my girlfriend, and I can only hope that we won't have to hear the same hateful comments that Skyler and Shereen have been receiving. They are so rude and absolutely unnecessary. Shereen and Skyler make a beautiful couple. I hope they keep their heads held high and rise above the ignorance of the hateful people out there. I love, adore, and look up to Skyreen<3

Happy 1 year anniversary & Valentines Day beautiful

  Words. aren't. about. to. be. enough.

  This girl. This amazing, beautiful being. Perfectly put together that not even her flaws can make her less beautiful. They help sculpt this person who I've fallen madly in love with. So far in love that I can't help but to think of my future with her. So far in love that I've become blind to anybody else. So far in love that even the slightest touch from the tips of her fingers on my body makes the hairs on my neck stand up, my heart pound from the blood rush, and my eyes soften from the love I feel.

Skyler is her name. 

It's crazy to think that one person can save you from a world you've been lost in, scoop you off of your feet after everyone else has made you feel like trash and make you feel beautiful. One person can help you see the things that you've been unable to identify about yourself. That person becomes a part of you. 

She knows my past, all of my mistakes and all of my flaws and somehow manages to still love me. But she doesn't just love me, she gives me every ounce of love she has to offer me without hesitation. The distance between us is hard but it only makes our love for each other stronger. It makes us realize that we can't take the time we have together for granted. I sit in the bathroom while she showers just to get that extra 15 minutes to talk to her. When I wake up in the morning before her I lay there soaking up every second her body is close to mine. After her basketball practices she'll come home, hug me and lay with me even though she hates the fact that she's sweaty. 

She cooks me breakfast in the morning, cuddles with me until we realize it's 10pm and we've done nothing but cuddle all day, wipes the tears from my face when I cry, sings Justin Bieber to me when I'm upset, wraps her arms around me as I fall asleep on her chest, and sometimes threatens to dig in my belly button so I stop tickling her :'D We don't wrestle anymore,we just beat the shit out of each other. Bruises, bite marks, welts and all. Then afterwards we get up, laugh, and hug each other like we both didn't almost just die. If someone tries to fuck with either of us best believe we'll go tag team the bitch. 

Skyler makes me feel at home. Her warmth, her beauty, her tight hugs, her kisses and when she holds me, nothing in the world can get to me. It's safer than home. It's where I want to be at all times. I've found someone who fights for me when I need it, someone who cherishes the stupid things I do, someone who doesn't judge me for being me to the fullest, someone who makes me cry from laughing so hard, someone who wants to hear about my bad days and who recognizes my flaws and thinks they make me more beautiful. It sounds like a fucking fairy tale but this is SKYLER! She is my world. My fucking light. My fucking knight in shining armor. My fucking bestfriend. And my fucking girlfriend! Why did I get so blessed? So god damn blessed to have this beautiful person walk into my life and change it for the complete better? 

We've become the same person. Together we can build each other back up, fix one another, and become invincible. Unstoppable. I will be here for this girl until the day I die. Mark my words.

Baby, you are the reason that I am able to make it through my weeks breathing easy. Being with you has been the most enticing, exhilarating, surreal thing I've ever experienced. I cannot wait to spend so many more of our days, weeks, months and years together. I will love you unconditionally forever. I will give you the world that you deserve and all of the love I have to offer even if it kills me. And I can't wait to give you your surprise for our one year. You just have to wait a lil bit alright?
