Since I can no longer mod SE/AE, I have decided to take it upon myself to continue to have Rumarin, by ✨being✨ Rumarin. That's right, banana husband is Dovahkiin now.
I am going to stick to stats that I feel like would work as a build, since I don't want to completely limit myself, but he's still going to be a Bladebinder primarily. That will not change.
Rumarin belongs to the mod Interesting NPC's By Kris Takahashi
I love my modded followers so fckin much, but Nebarra and Xelzaz keeps beefing during fights mannn. It's hilarious to watch, and I'm rlly impressed that they even have fighting words for each other whenever they scrap. Meanwhile, Rumarin and Taliesin often make googly eyes at each other, which leaves my Dunmer DB downing six bottles of shein to cope w the chaos of his team
Erawen was born in Sunhold, Summerset, on the 15th of Sun's Dawn, to two powerful Altmer mages. Her mother, Eriendal was a scholar of Restoration and Mysticism, and her father, Soren was a prodigy whose intellect drew the attention of the Psijic Order.
When Erawen was still a young child, her father was chosen to join the Order and had to disappear from public life. Eriendal followed him, bound by both love and duty, leaving behind their young daughter to protect her from that cloistered existence.
Before departing, they entrusted Erawen to a trusted pair of colleagues, Eldanamir and Eldaline, renowned scholars and historians of the Summerset Isles.
The Scholars of Many Tongues:
Eldanamir, a Lore Keeper and Archivist, dedicated his life to the study of Tamrielic myth, translation, and the preservation of lost texts. He served for decades within the Crystal Tower’s archives before its fall and is fluent in Aldmeri, Old Aldmeri, Common, Dwarven, Ayleid, and even a touch of the Dragon Tongue.
He taught Erawen the value of language, not just as communication, but as the vessel of thought and magic itself. His favorite saying is:
“To know a word is to hold its power. To forget it is to lose the world it names.”
Eldaline, his wife, is a daring scholar and archaeologist who spent years unearthing Ayleid and Dwemer ruins throughout Tamriel. She too is fluent in several ancient tongues and specialized in deciphering magical inscriptions and runic patterns. She believed that magic and history could not be truly understood without walking through the dust of their origins.
She often took Erawen on field studies, letting her brush the carved walls of ancient temples and listen to the silence of forgotten halls.
Together, Eldanamir and Eldaline provided Erawen with a rare and balanced education, half scholarly, half exploratory. Their home is part library, part museum, overflowing with scrolls, maps, relics, and stories of distant civilizations.
Erawen’s Education and Personality:
By adolescence, Erawen could already read and write in several languages and perform complex spells from multiple schools of magic. She became fascinated by the way language shaped magic, how ancient dialects carried power, and how even the Dragon Tongue could command the very elements.
Her curiosity was boundless, but unlike many of her kin, she retained her warmth and compassion. She approached learning with humility, believing that every discovery must serve life, not pride.
Eldanamir and Eldaline, proud of their daughter’s brilliance and heart, sponsored her journey to the College of Winterhold, where she continued her studies in arcane theory, linguistic magic, and the history of lost civilizations.
At the college Erawen also decided to feed into her love for the stars and began to dedicate her studies towards Astronomy, alongside her other pursuits. She is very knowledgeable but, she wants to learn all the world provides.
You sat at the fire with your companions, when Rumarin suddenly made your heads turn.
“Some say Rumarin is a feminine name, but I’m not a girl. I just f- like one.” Rumarin stated with a jaded expression as he flicked his short nails.
Your eyes widened as You looked up slowly. “Excuse me?” You said, Rumarin looked over at You.
“What?” He shrugged unbothersome.
“What did you just say?” You asked with red cheeks. Rumarin arched his brow perplexed.
“I said, some say Rumarin is a feminine name, but I’m not a girl. I just fight like one.” He repeated, You snorted a laugh.
“Oh!” You chuckled.
“What did you think I said?” Rumarin asked, oblivious to his friend’s dirty mind.
“N-nothing!” You blurted out between laughs, wheezing. Rumarin simply sat there trying to process what he said that was so funny.
“Gods elf... Y/N thought you said fuck.” Kaiden growled as he rolled his eyes.
“Oh!” Rumarin caught on and his cheeks took a crimson hue as he averted his eyes.
“Well I mean...I am pretty submissive ” He added as he tapped the tips of his fingers together shyly. Inigo, Lucien, and Taliesin looked up with arched brows at such a comment.
“So you basically admitted to fucking like a girl?” Kaiden asked.
“Yeah pretty much, deal with it, stud.” Rumarin frowned, You continued to cackle, even reduced to tears.
Rumarin: Hey girl, I heard you like bad boys.
Rumarin: *Tries to lean on the wall and falls*
Rumarin: Which is a good thing because I'm bad at everything
